From the Orlando Sentinel website:

The Orlando Police Department is seeking witnesses in a 2012 murder case that is scheduled for trial later this summer.

Police are looking for brothers Cruz Goytia, 31, and Xavier Goytia, 30, in the murder case of Pedro Gallardo, according to an OPD news release. Gallardo was murdered in a downtown parking garage in 2012.

Both brothers were with the shooter, Ronny Batista, 29, at the time of the murder, the release said. After the murder, Batista fled to the Dominican Republic, where U.S. Marshals eventually arrested him in 2015.

The trial is set for August.

Police are asking anyone who knows the whereabouts of the Goytia brothers to contact Crimeline at 800-423-8477.

Thoughts? I should note that the Goytia brothers have never actually been aired on a national crime show. However, America's Most Wanted profiled the search for Ronny Batista, who allegedly shot Pedro Gallardo, on their website. Therefore, I'm placing the brothers in the fugitives on tv section since it relates to the overall case.

According to an article that just came out last month, Cruz Goytia (pictured above right on top) is possibly in the Kissimmee area of Florida. So at least as far as Cruz is concerned, it may not be that difficult to find him if there is enough publicity: www.clickorlando.com/news/police-seek-person-of-interest-in-2012-orlando-murder

So let's do our best to find these guys. Please keep in mind the brothers are only persons of interest/witnesses and as far as I know have not been charged with any wrongdoing. However, locating them would definitely help in the case against Ronny Batista and getting justice for Pedro Gallardo if Batista is indeed his killer.

I put 2016 with a question mark as the "wanted" year since that's when the Goytia brothers were first announced as sought witnesses. Pedro's murder as mentioned actually took place in 2012.

I don't see either Goytia brother in the Florida warrants search website but it's entirely possible since they are only persons of interest as of this posting date. (6/20/2018).

Currently unsure of what their status is or if Ronny Batista has gone to trial as of this posting date. (6/20/2018).

A couple of notes:

-Ronny Batista had his trial and was convicted (and according to a search of Florida's online inmate system I did sentenced to 30 years) but I have no idea if Cruz and Xavier were ever located and/or if they still being looked for as potential witnesses as of this posting date (May 27th, 2019).

-The reason I'm not sure if authorities still need to know where Cruz and Xavier are; I learned there is yet another apparent fugitive in this case- Roman Batista, the brother of Ronny Batista. Roman allegedly solicited a hitman to kill two witnesses, who I'm assuming were Cruz and Xavier (not making excuses for them but I can see why they went into hiding now).

But I just to want to stress that the Goytia brothers are on our website because public articles had authorities specifically appealing to the public asking for their whereabouts. It is only because they were PUBLICLY outed and asked for public help in being located that they are on our website. If I receive credible information they are no longer being searched for since the trial for Ronny Batista is now over anyway and/or if I receive a request from law enforcement or anyone else I deem to be credible or have a valid reason for removal, I promise to remove the Goytia brothers from our website.
