In the early 2000s I walked into a coffee shop and got interviewed by AMW for a short segment called something like Street Stories (I think), where the whole point was to interview random people about their experiences with crime and with criminals. I didn't have lots to say (thankfully, I don't have experience with either). Nevertheless, I did end up briefly appearing on the show, but now I can't seem to find the footage or even what episode that was from. Anyhow, I would like to show my friends my 15 seconds of fame and would be much obliged to anyone who can help me find that episode.

Hi bogpah, welcome to the forum! Unfortunately, I only have on old Fox episode at home and it's not one with that interview. But a few of our other forum posters collect old episodes and perhaps might if nothing else know the date. I'm going to be honest with you and admit this might a long shot, but good luck! It must have been so cool to have been on AMW! (For positive reasons )

Thanks for the welcome! It certainly was exciting, now if I could just prove it to my friends...

I remember Street Stories. It was a very short-lived feature produced by Tom Morris and Ray Farkas in early 2005. It only aired about five or six times before it was discontinued. I believe this was because, while interesting, it didn't add much to the show itself (and this was also around the time when John Walsh would dedicate huge parts of the show to just one or two cases, which led to shows that often had only a couple fugitives profiled). I refer to this period as the "Hummer Period," because John would ride around in a big, black Hummer investigating the cases himself.
