From the Charley Project:
Moyer was last seen in Tenino, Washington March 6, 2009. She worked as a financial analyst for the state Department of Ecology in Lacey, Washington. She left work at 5:15 p.m., drove a coworker home, and bought some items at a Thriftway Market, paying by check, at 6:45 p.m. This is the last time anyone saw her. Moyer's two daughters were visiting her estranged husband for the weekend. When he took them back to their mother's home 700 block of state Route 507 on March 8, she wasn't there. The front door was ajar, the television and living room lights were on, there was a partially consumed glass of wine on the coffee table and the bedside lamp in Moyer's bedroom was on. Moyer's identification, purse, car keys, wallet, cigarettes, clothing and toiletries were all in the house and her car, a white Honda Civic Del Sol, was parked out front. She was reported missing at 5:00 p.m. on March 8.
An extensive search of the home turned up no indications of a break-in or a struggle. Moyer does not own a cellular phone, and her credit cards and bank accounts have not been used since her disappearance. Her family stated she would never have left of her own accord and abandoned her daughters, she wasn't dating anyone or having any personal problems at the time of her disappearance, and she had no drug problems or mental problems that could explain her disappearance. She had worked for the Department of Ecology for twelve years and her employers described her as a reliable worker who would always notify them if she had to miss work.
Moyer and her husband had separated two years before, but it was an amicable breakup and they worked out a shared child custody arrangement without involving the courts. He isn't considered a suspect in her case. Foul play is suspected in Moyer's disappearance, which remains unsolved.

Thoughts? I should note the aforementioned tattoos in Nancy's missing person profile can be seen by clicking on the Charley Project link above. Also linked above is the syndicated crime show Crime Watch Daily's airing profiling her disappearance. 'Crime Watch Daily' first profiled Nancy's disappearance on the May 19th, 2017 episode of the show.
The show pretty much confirms Nancy's husband right away and he is also interviewed. Also interviewed is Thurston County Detective Ben Elkins who is now in charge of Nancy's case. Suspicion seems to center around two people, or at least mentioned on airing:
-A co-worker who was said to be infatuated with Nancy who claimed to have had a date scheduled with her that he tries to have sex with her but "couldn't perform." The co-worker chuckles "no" when asked by Det. Elkins if he would tell him where Nancy's body is if he knew. However, the co-worker has never been named as a suspect or charged in Nancy Moyer's disappearance.
-An admitted killer named Bernard Keith Howell, who lived just down the street from Nancy Moyer. Howell was sentenced to nearly 30-years in prison for the brutal murder of 60 year-old Vanda Boone. Howell went around the neighborhood of Tenino selling meat from his van. Howell, who claimed to be high on methamphetamine brutally beat and stabbed Boone to death and placed her body in his van. The same exact meat that he sold was found in Nancy's refrigerator. Unfortunately, Elkins has been unable to interview Howell while he sits in prison and had previously been uncooperative and refused to answer questions about Nancy Moyer's disappearance.
My personal opinion is while the co-worker sounds a bit creepy, I feel his "why wouldn't I tell you where the body is" comment could also just be his way of saying "even if I had nothing to do with it, why would I tell you where a dead person's body is when that would make you think I did it."
It creeps me out that Howell lived so close to Nancy. And regardless of whether he did or didn't anything to Nancy, it's also unsettling to me that he did not receive a life sentence.
