Wanted on Canada-wide warrant for second degree murder.
Sawaran Singh Sekhon is wanted on a Canada-Wide Warrant for the shooting death of Devinder Singh Gill that occurred in the early hours of Friday, September 11 2009 in Brampton Ontario. Sekhon may have fled to the area of Gilla (Ludhiana) in India.
Working in conjunction with Peel Regional Police, Homicide and Missing Persons Bureau.

Thoughts? Sekhon is my most wanted Canadian fugitive for the month of June 2017. Although I couldn't find the alleged motive, I was able to find a little more information on this case from 2009. Apparently there was another suspect, 27 year-old Gurmit Singh Randhawa, aka "Jeeta", who was also charged with Gill's murder and both Randhawa and Sekhon were known to him. The shooting occurred at a get together in Gill's own basement at 4 am in the morning. Randhawa would shortly be captured afterwards but Sekhon is apparently still at large as of this posting date (6/1/2017). It should also be noted that Gill was said to be a father of two and his wife was nine months pregnant at the time of his murder. So regardless of the motive, this is an especially tragic case.
