"Police are still looking for a Santa Ana man they suspect of being behind an October 2004 shooting death.
Detectives with the Santa Ana Police Department believe the slaying was motivated by drugs, said Cpl. Anthony Bertagna.
Officers were called to the 1000 block of Richland on Oct. 5, 2004, after receiving reports of shots fired. Inside the garage of Ranferi Macedo, Bertagna said, officers found Francisco Gonzalez dead, shot multiple times.
Detectives say Macedo shot Gonzalez at the home, then fled to Mexico."

Thoughts? I checked the online Orange County, California warrants search system and there is still a warrant for Macedo's arrest listed there as of this posting date. (5/24/2017).
