From the Bangor Daily News website (bangordailynews.com):
BANGOR, Maine — Bangor police announced Monday a reward has been offered for information leading to the arrest of a man they say shot and killed another man on Ohio Street on Sunday afternoon.
“We are actively seeking Antoinne J. Bethea (also known as “Prince”) whose date of birth is 10-28-1976, via an arrest warrant for the violation of murder,” Lt. David Bushey, who leads the detective division, said Monday night in a news release.
Bethea of New Haven, Connecticut, is wanted in connection with the death of Terrance Durel Sr., 36, of New Orleans and formerly Brewer, who was shot near 125 Ohio St. shortly after 3 p.m. Sunday. Durel was taken by car to a local hospital, where he died.
Bangor police declined to provide the relationship between the two men, or a possible motive, but a search online reveals they are connected through a mutual friend, who has not responded to a request for comment.
Special Agent Kristen Setera of the FBI Public Affairs office in Boston confirmed Tuesday afternoon that the FBI is assisting in the search for Bethea.
“A reward has been posted for information that leads to the apprehension of Mr. Bethea,” the Bangor police news release states.
An organization is offering the reward but did not want to be identified, Bushey said. It was not clear how the organization got involved. Police declined to release the amount of the reward.
A team of investigators and crime scene technicians with the department’s Criminal Investigation Division continue to investigate the shooting.
Bethea was still on the run Monday.
The Easter homicide is the first of 2017, Bushey confirmed Monday.

Thoughts? It's somewhat rare to see a Maine murder suspect on our forum, but as we all know by now, crime can happen anywhere. (And an AMW-aired murder suspect from Maine, Farrah Iiman, is still on the run.). The article above doesn't mention a motive but other articles suggest this was possibly the result of an argument: bangordailynews.com/2017/04/19/news/bangor/homicide-victim-was-in-bangor-to-visit-his-son-mother-says/
The latest news on this case is from late April when a 45 year-old woman named Cindy McVicar was arrested for allegedly interfering the arrest and prosecution of Bethea: www.wlbz2.com/mb/news/local/bangor-police-arrest-woman-for-interfering-in-murder-investigation/433174809
Because I see no updates since, I am assuming Bethea is still at large as as of this posting date (5/22/2017). So if you know Antoinne "Prince" Bethea's whereabouts, I would recommend calling the Bangor Police Department so he can earn the new nickname of the fugitive formerly known as Prince.
Admin Note #1: Articles suggest anyone with information on Bethea's whereabouts contact the Bangor (Maine) Police Department's anonymous tip line. According to the Bangor P.D. website, that number is 207-947-7382 (and then dial extension 6). The Department's email address is bangor.police@bangormaine.gov
