Labros Soumas is wanted by the New York State Police and the Champlain Town Court for stealing over $16,000 from Key Bank in Champlain. Soumas deposited several fraudulent checks and then removed the cash from the account in August 2009. He is believed to be living in Lilebizard, Quebec.
Based on investigating agencies, it is advised to contact the New York State Troopers at (518) 563-3761 or email Crimetip@troopers.ny.gov if you have any information on Labros Soumas's whereabouts.

Thoughts? Upon google searching "Labros Soumas", the first result is a Linkedin page to the owner of a logistics company with the same name in the Montreal, Quebec area. It seems like this is another case of where authorities know where a fugitive is hiding out internationally, but the country the fugitive is in (in this case Canada) is slow on arresting or extraditing him or just not interested. As someone who lives in Canada, I don't see the benefit we get to having a white-collar fugitive running a business here.
