You can also submit a web tip to Atlantic County Crime Stoppers at the following link: www.tipsubmit.com/WebTips.aspx?AgencyID=575Authorities in New Jersey are searching for not one, but at least two fugitives named "Francisco Martinez" on murder charges. This particular Francisco Martinez has been wanted since 1994 and was the original 50/50 fugitive out of New Jersey According to the old website, in February of 1994, entered the residence of his ex-girlfriend Patricia Boney in Atlantic County, New Jersey. Martinez then stabbed her 25 times, killing her while six children were inside the residence. Before she died, Boney was able to tell her sister that Martinez was the one who attacked her. Thoughts? The old website also mentions that after the murder, Martinez had been spotted in Mexico. The site also mentions he worked as a farmer in New Jersey and has ties to California so he may also be doing seasonal migrant labour in California. www.njsp.org/wanted/2013_martinez_f.htmlUPDATE from site admin: As of July 23rd, 2018, is still listed on the New Jersey State Police's website as one of their most wanted fugitives: www.njsp.org/wanted/index.shtmlAdmin Note: If you have any news-related updates on this case, please contact us here: amwfans.com/thread/1662/website-contact-form

Although some come back it seems for the most part once a fugitive goes to Mexico he feels he's found a safe haven, especially if he's hispanic, less likely to stand out and with obviously a better grasp on the language to hide out in remote parts and non-tourist towns and cities.

It's one of those things where unfortunately sometimes the passage of time actually helps a fugitive. It's like they get rewarded for staying on the run longer than others. He will likely be around 70 when he gets out which isn't a death sentence, but the one saving grace in sentences like these is usually when they're older they're less likely to re-offend if/when they get out.
