I found a 2007 article on this case through Newslibrary. It was a short piece but it mentioned that Vincent was trying to break up the fight and that's why Salvador stabbed him to death.

As of today, February 18, 2021, Salvador Hernandez's 2003 murder case entry in the Kern County Court Records database lists "N/A" next to the "arrest date". Nothing under the disposition date as well. We can confirm based on this that Salvador is still at large.
Also as with similar cases, the fact that Salvador was born in Washington State should "hopefully" make it easier to arrest and extradite him if he is located in Mexico.

As of today, April 13, 2022, there is still no arrest date and no recorded disposition for Salvador, according to Kern County's Court Records database. I also did not see an Unlawful Flight To Avoid Prosecution (UFAP) case for Salvador in PACER.
