From the Charley Project:
Monique has was last seen by a neighbor on June 2, 1992 in Moore, Oklahoma. The witness told authorities that Monique was loading clothes into a blue Chevrolet pickup truck driven by an unidentified Caucasian male. She has never been heard from again.
Monique lived with her mother, Candyce Daniels, and stepfather, Charles "Chuck" Daniels, in 1992. Her stepfather was a sergeant in the United States Air Force. They didn't report her as a missing person because, they said, they believed she had run away from home. In January 1993, her maternal aunt contacted the police to inquire about Monique's case and learned no report had been filed. She asked Candyce about it, and two days later, Candyce said Monique had called home and spoken to her younger sister, Angelique, and said she was safe. A week after that, a letter supposedly from Monique, postmarked Texas, arrived in the mail. A second letter arrived in September 1993. The letters said Monique had gotten married and given birth to a daughter. Nothing further was heard.
In January 1994, Angelique ran away from home and moved in with an aunt in Michigan. She then told the police that Chuck had made her write the letters they said were from Monique, and he drove her to Texas so they could mail them. The phone call had also been a fabrication. She said Chuck had told her to do this so they could provide reassurance for Candyce. When the police asked Chuck about Angelique's allegations, he admitted they were all true. Candyce finally filed a missing persons report at this time. Neither of them would agree to take a polygraph test about Monique's case.
There have been rumors of foul play in Monique's disappearance, and Angelique believes Chuck may have harmed her, but no arrests have been made or suspects named. Candyce and Chuck stated they still believe she simply ran away. Her case remains unsolved.

Thoughts? I am placing Monique's case in the Missing on TV section because her disappearance was recently profiled on the syndicated crime show "Crime Watch Daily": crimewatchdaily.com/2016/05/09/oklahoma-teen-with-dreams-of-being-a-doctor-disappears/
