Daniel Velarde
On Friday, January 11, 2002, Bruce Wong, "CHINO," A Columbus Street gang member, was shot to death in an alley adjacent to the Las Brisas bar located at 15321 Parthenia Street. Daniel Velarde has been identified as the shooter. The .9 mm blue steel semi automatic pistol used in the shooting is still outstanding.
