He is also wanted for Unlawful Flight To Avoid Prosecution, and for Violation of Parole. RAMIREZ is a Latin King gang member, and may be avoiding apprehension in Texas, or Mexico.

Thoughts? Not a ton of additional information about the murder itself but anytime you have a Latin King gang member wanted for homicide it's a huge concern even a decade after the fact.
