Date: 07/21/1976
Location: 3500 block Clay St.
Synopsis: Victim was at a neighbor’s house after spending the evening at
Elitch Gardens. While on the porch, several shots were fired and the victim
was struck by one of the rounds and died. The victim enjoyed spending
time at home and fishing with his grandfather. Martin’s mother described
her son as very funny, engaging and a well liked young man.
Based on investigating agencies, it is advised to contact the Denver Police
Department at 720-913-2000 if you have any information on the murder of
Martin Martinez.

Thoughts? After 40 years, Martin's killer may be in jail for another offense, or may have even died since the time of the murder. Martin's family deserves to know who killed him and the identity of any accomplices that played a role. If any of them are alive, then they need to be held accountable.
