In February 1981, authorities in Nashville, Tennessee say that brothers, Peter and Paul Osagiede raped a University Nursing Student. Their first trial in January 1982 resulted in a hung jury. The second trial in 1983 led to the guilty verdict of both brothers and 10-year prison sentences. On December 12, 1983 however, Peter Osagiede escaped from prison and has been on the run ever since.

Thoughts? Peter Osagiede was originally from Nigeria so I feel there's a good chance that he fled back to Africa after escaping from prison. With that in mind, it's highly unlikely that he would be captured as long as he stays in Africa, so the best chance of finding him may be if he travels back to North America on an airplane. Also thanks to newspapers.com for having a 1983 article about Peter Osaiede's conviction, which is how I learned about this case's details.
