Authorities say that on October 29, 1988, Alexandra Arriola was driving while intoxicated and on the wrong side of a highway. As a result, an oncoming vehicle tried to serve out of the way but crashed head-on into Alexander's car. As a result, 15-year old Ana Castanheira, a passenger in the other car was killed from the collision. Alexander was arrested but failed to appear for a meeting with his attorney and police on Dec 3, 1988, becoming a fugitive.

Thoughts? For this case thread I have newspapers.com to thank for keeping the 1988 article on this case available on their site (I've subscribed for information on this and other fugitive cases). Alexander Arriola is a Caucasian male of Hispanic descent, but it's not clear if he fled to Latin America, which country he would be in today. That's why motorists wherever Alexander is currently are not safe as long as they share the same road as him.
