(Above photo credit: loudonnow.com) From loudonnow.com: On March 26, 2009, Jammie Lane was found fatally stabbed in his northeast Leesburg home. Eight years later, the search for his killer continues. It remains an open, active case on the docket of the Leesburg Police’s detective division, the department confirmed this month, while offering no new information for release to the public. The 44-year-old landscaper was found dead in his Adams Drive townhouse, the victim of what police described as a “particularly brutal homicide.” He died of multiple stab wounds. There was no evidence of forced entry into the home, but there were signs of a struggle, police said. At one time, police investigated Elias Abuelazam, who was suspected of a series of 18 stabbings—five fatal—in Loudoun, Michigan and Ohio during 2010, as a person of interest in the case. Abuelazam, who once lived on Adams Drive, was accused of three stabbings in Leesburg in August, 2010. He was sentenced to life in prison in Michigan, but was not tried on any Loudoun attacks. Youdella Allen continues to hold out hope that someone will come forward with new information that will help identify her husband’s killer. Anyone with information on this case is urged to call the Leesburg Police Department at 703-771-4502 or the Leesburg Crime Line at 703-443-TIPS (8477).loudounnow.com/2017/03/26/another-anniversary-passes-in-unsolved-leesburg-murder-case/Thoughts?
