(Above photo credit: lapdonline.org) Fugitive Profile as of March 24th, 2017: (Based on LAPD website's Most Wanted section) Suspect: Mariles, Moises Sex: M Descent: Hispanic Height: 5' 6" Weight: 140 pounds Hair: Black Eyes: Brown Date of Birth: Nov 17, 1974 Age: 28* (at time of alleged offense) Who to call if you've seen him: 77th Street Homicide Detectives at 213-485-1385.From the LAPD website - Most Wanted section: The suspect and victim checked into a motel at 6310 S. Figueroa Street. During their stay at the motel the suspect strangled the victim. He has not been seen in the area since July 4, 2003. The suspect has family in Mexico and Fresno Additional Information: Vehicle Description - 1992 White/Red Suzuki Motorcycle, License Number: 13K3698 www.lapdonline.org/77th_street_most_wanted/most_wanted_view/12921Thoughts? Really wish there was a little more information as we don't even know if the victim was a male or female. We can assume it was a female since it says they checked into a hotel (meaning a female lover or an escort but even if she was there would of course be no excuse for her murder, I also mean no disrespect if this is not sex-related, just trying to figure out the lack of details) but there's no way to know for sure. If anyone can clarify I'd appreciate it. Admin Note: If you have any (news-related) updates on this case, please contact us here: amwfans.com/thread/1662/website-contact-form

As of June 9th, 2018, Mariles is still listed on the LAPD most wanted website, which granted is not the most updated website, but enough for me to reasonably assume that he's probably still wanted as of this update. (Most wanted profile link is the same as in the OP).

Another one of Los Angeles’s many cold case fugitives have finally been caught in Mexico! Excellent work to all law enforcement agencies involved.
