Police in Butler County are looking for a 20-year-old man for questioning in the death of a 4-year-old boy.
The child died Tuesday. Police said his death is considered suspicious.
Butler Township Police are leading the investigation, but state police at the Butler barracks assisted Tuesday as the case unfolded, providing forensic investigation at several sites including the parking lot of Armco in Butler Township, the Super 8 motel in Butler Township and a bank in Butler City.
Keith Jordan Lambing is described as white, standing about 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall, weighing about 150 pounds. He was last seen shirtless and wearing blue jeans with black boots.
Police said he may be in the Butler City or Saxonburg areas.
"(He) may be suicidal," police noted.
Mr. Lambing has not been described as a suspect but rather as being wanted for questioning.
He is not known to possess any weapons. Anyone who sites him is asked to call Butler County 911 at 724-282-1221 or Butler Township police at 724-285-9600.
According to court documents, Mr. Lambing has most recently lived in the North Hills. He also has lived in Butler and Slippery Rock.
On March 8, he was charged with felony counts of burglary, criminal trespass, and conspiracy as well as terroristic threats and harassment. He was held for court on March 20.
The Butler County Coroner’s Office conducted an autopsy on 4-year-old Bentley Miller on Tuesday evening, but the findings have not been made public.
Officials say Miller was found unresponsive in a car in the parking lot at the Armco Credit Union in Pullman Square. A person associated with the family called 911. The boy died at Butler Memorial Hospital on Tuesday afternoon. Police and paramedics responded to the scene and performed CPR before the boy was rushed the hospital where he died.
Later, a state police forensic team spent much of the day assisting local police at the Super 8 Motel in Butler, identified as a crime scene.
The motel is where Lambing had been most recently staying with the 4-year-old boy, the boy’s mother and a baby. Miller’s relatives confirm he is the target of the suspicious death investigation.
Butler Township Police say they want to talk to Lambing, describing him as “a person of interest” in their investigation, but there’s no warrant for his arrest. He is known as Jordan Lambing to many.
The Motel 8 manager told KDKA-TV’s Ralph Iannotti that neither her employees nor motel guests reported anything unusual or suspicious about Lambing and the others.
Manager Anna LePore Conte said, “It was the mother of the children and a boyfriend, and they seemed fine. I didn’t have problem with them. The children seemed fine. They were here a couple of days.”
Sources said Miller showed signs of unexplained injuries.
Police plan to meet with the Butler County District Attorney’s Office on Wednesday.
“I’m just as shocked as everybody, it’s a horrible thing to happen,” said Conte.

Thoughts? It is important to note that Jordan Lambing (he is referred to by his middle name is most news articles), is only wanted for questioning at this point, and has not been officially charged with any crime in relation to Bentley Miller's death. However, if he has some sort of explanation for all this, running away certainly won't help him.
