(Above photo credit: cityofdelano.org- Police Department section) Fugitive Profile as of March 21st, 2017: (Based on City of Delano government website- Police Department section, articles) Age: Approximately 29 (was listed as 26 in 2014 news articles) Sex: Male Race: Hispanic Height: 5'6" Weight: 140 lbs From ABC Bakersfield (turnto23.com): It's been eight years since 33-year-old Brenda Wyatt was killed in Delano. The coroner's report said that she was walking near Fremont Avenue, just north of Garces Highway. She was hit by Pedro Sanchez and transported to Delano Regional Medical Center where she died form her injuries. Eight years later, Sanchez is still on the loose. Her mother, Lorie, wants closure and hopes that Sanchez can be found soon. 23ABC News spoke with the Delano Police Department who says they're still actively searching for Sanchez and say its also possible he fled the country. If you have any information about this case, please call the Delano Police Department at (661) 721-3377. www.turnto23.com/news/local-news/mom-wants-suspect-who-hit-killed-her-daughter-eight-years-ago-foundwww.cityofdelano.org/index.aspx?NID=136Thoughts? Please keep in mind I am only approximating Sanche'z age to be around 29 as of this posting date (3/21/2017), because I found a 2014 article which referenced him as 26. I am hoping the article meant currently in that year. If there are any corrections to be made for accuracy reasons, feel free to email our website contact form. As of June 14th, 2018, Sanchez is still on the City of Delano website as a wanted fugitive. (Same link as in the OP). I can't seem to find the case against him in Kern County's online court records, however.
I'm assuming that he is still wanted as of this update, but if anyone has any updates/proof-of-updates one way or the other, they can always feel free to let us know.
