In July of 2007, an 18-year old man went to Dover, New Jersey's annual Colombian festival to visit some old high school friends. He came across Juan Ramirez-Rendon, who despite never meeting him before got screamed at by Juan. While in the crowds, Juan stabbed the man six times, including four in the back and one in the face. Afterwards, Juan chased two more people and then carjacked a taxi cab driver, fleeing down the street.

Thoughts? I didn't see the motive listed in the Newslibrary article from 2007, but this could have been a case of mistaken identity as we've seen happen in the past. Another possibility is simply that Juan wanted to cause harm to innocent people for the sake of doing it. After 10 years, Juan may be back in his native Colombia where extraditing him may or may not be possible based on the attempted murder charges.
