From masslive.com:
The Massachusetts State Police on Thursday named David Grossack as the prime suspect in the weekend homicide of a local artist in Everett, and announced he has been placed on the state's list of most wanted fugitives.
Grossack, 47, is wanted for murder in connection with the death of Francis Brescia in Everett.
Brescia, 65, was found dead Saturday in his Oakland Avenue apartment when his landlord went to check in on him. He is believed to have been killed sometime before Saturday according to police.
Brescia, according to the Boston Globe, was a one-time homeless man who late in life discovered he had a talent for painting, and was able to earn a living selling several pieces he had painted.
Grossack is descrived as white, 6 feet, 2 inches tall, and weighing around 175 pounds. He has a thin build, brown hair and hazel eyes. He also has a tattoo on the back of his left hand near his index finger.
He is believed to be homeless and been known to stay in shelters in Boston, Lynn and Salem, and has past ties in Saugus, Beverly and Norton.
Police warn that he had access to weapons and may be armed.
He also has a lenghy criminal history in Massachusetts and California that includes assault and battery, domestic abuse, breaking and entering and lewd conduct.
Anyone who sees Grossack or who has information on where he may be found is asked to call the State Police Violent Fugitive Apprehension Section at 800-527-8873 or 800-KAPTURE.

Thoughts? According to other articles I've read, the Middlesex County District Attorney's Office is withholding additional details- such as Brescia's cause of death- to protect the investigation. Prosecutors do say preliminary investigation suggests this was not a random act.
