In October of 2009, Alejandro Mejia-Sesmas was driving along with his passenger Logan West in Elkhart County, Indiana. Alejandro decided to drive at a reckless rate of speed and lost control of his vehicle, striking a tree. Logan was ejected from the car and died as a result of his injuries. Alejandro only suffered a broken jaw and after recovering from his injuries, fled the local area.
