On February 1, 2004 at 11:35 PM, the suspect confronted victim after a verbal dispute involving gang related matters. The victim & suspect were members of the same gang. As of June 9th, 2018, Campos is still listed on the LAPD most wanted website, which granted is not the most updated website, but enough for me to reasonably assume that he's probably still wanted as of this update. (Most wanted profile link is the same as in the OP).

As of today, November 15, 2023, Ismael's homicide case in Los Angeles County's court records database has no disposition date and plea status. There have also been no filings since 2004. I checked PACER and did not see a UFAP (Unlawful Flight To Avoid Prosecution) case for Ismael. I also found out the name of the victim in this case is Erik Gamez. I have never heard of the case this is just tragic because it has a lack of serious publicity and many people villafy victims who were involved in the criminal underworld even though the victim was a gang member it really makes me sad that this case has gone unresolved with Campos still at large he allegedly killed a fellow member of his gang over a friggin argument kind of reminds me of Carlos felino Hernandez or Cesar jumps Herrera but this is the sad part those cases received more effort from the media trying to get solved but this case in my opinion is just as important i hope one day all these cases get resolved and Campos gets apprehended soon

Another thing has anyone heard of this particular gang now I understand there a a lot of gangs in los Angeles but this one sounds like a particularly vicious one and let's hope like Mario lozano he gets caught I can actually see him still being in the los Angeles area but he could be hiding in Mexico possibly along the border region
