One thing I really haven’t been able to comprehend even after all these years, is what was a 23 year old woman like Sandy Le doing dating a 17 year old like Alex Castillo?
The press releases mention Sandy Le as his former girlfriend, but no mention of that on the FBI poster. I don’t mean to pick at these little details, but Castillo was underage at the time of the murder and if they dated previously he would’ve been 16 and Sandy 22 or so, wouldn’t this relationship have been against the law due to age of consent laws?
This also could’ve played a role in the murder, despite being 17 and 23 respectively, it’s 2 totally different worlds, at 17 your at best a senior in high school and the world is so small, while at 23 you’ve been an adult for a few years at that point and have bigger priorities.

This may be a controversial opinion considering the kinds of crimes we cover but I see no problem with age gap relationships if two people love each other as long as they're above 18 and legal age (For lack of a better quote considering an AMW capture sang the song, age ain't nothing but a number). This relationship is/was on the borderline though but at the end of the day I don't think it's really relevant to the case or manhunt and this was more about taking advantage of generosity/money related.

Am I the only one scratching my head as to how this young man is still on the run? You’d think with his age, he’d be making mistakes that would lead right to him, but that hasn’t happened yet. The only thing I can think of is that someone is helping him on the run, but I want to see what others think.

I hate to do this to you- although it is understandable since these threads have so many pages in the top ten section- but this is another case where you basically said what I already said earlier at some point in the discussion lol.
I'm sorta eating crow because I thought this would be a quick capture, but I also give credit to whoever (I stress not directly accusing anyone but I feel someone must be) is helping Alex and not Alex himself for his ability to stay on the run this long.

I believe he is being helped with associates and or family in Mexico It’s gonna take a lot of luck to catch him at this point |

Just wanted to ask if Alejandro Castillo is going to be aired on AMW this season?
The FBI has had him at the bottom of the top ten section the past couple of weeks.

No clue AMW has been pretty clandestine about cases this season which is a good thing. I’d say he has a good chance though as the little I know is they’re heavy on FBI cases this season.

The FBI hasn’t bumped up Castillo in roughly a month now, while it may be a move by the FBI to have him coincide with a possible airing on AMW, I don’t want to jump to conclusions yet but I’m beginning to suspect something major may have happened or is happening with regards to Castillo. Vitel’homme, Palomino, Ignatova and Fields have all been bumped up while skipping Castillo leaving him at the bottom. |

I think if he was broadcast, someone would recognize him. This is a case that has been helped by media so far (the FBI has said on Twitter that they have received some very good tips thus far in his case). |

Not a ton of new info on Castillo’s AMW profile tonight but I am continuously baffled by how he’s still on the run so hopefully tonight’s airing helped.
