Alright everyone tonight is the night, for the last nearly 4 years, after initially beginning as a missing persons cases, to then becoming a Top Ten Contender for most of 2017 until October of that year, when he was actually added to the list itself, and having spent the last 2 years on it.
It’s all led up to his airing tonight on In Pursuit and I hope tonight is the beginning of the end for Alejandro Rosales Castillo.

I'm in shock he's stayed on the run long enough to even have the need for John Walsh to go after him, but hey based on that theory he should be a relatively easy capture despite being on the top 10 list.

In Pursuit's page advertised on Facebook and I saw other pages such as Fugitive Watch posting about Castillo although not mentioning the airing. I personally didn't see too much of a lack of publicity, just like in different places than Jimenez.

Was a pretty good job In Pursuit did last night, especially considering this is a surprisingly complicated case to have a teenage murder suspect.
They mention based on texts from Castillo to Ahmia Feaster, he had apparently wanted to start a new life with Ahmia and knew Sandy was vulnerable. He asked her for $1,000 dollars since he owed the money to gang members that were going to kill him. He also lied that he had two children. Sandy who grew up without a mother didn't give it a second thought. From the texts, even Castillo was surprised.
Tbh, this case still makes no sense to me. Don't get me wrong, it's rather obvious in my opinion Castillo killed Sandy. But I don't understand why after he tricked her into giving him the 1,000 dollars. If he was going to start a new life anyway, why does he need her out of the picture. And why over a measly 1,000 dollars? Is there more to it than that or is he really that cold-blooded?
Amiah is apparently also on an ankle monitor awaiting trial. We know how I feel about ankle monitors, but I think she has incentive to stay if she wants to cut a deal once they catch Castillo. If she's telling the truth that Alex Castillo abandoned her in Mexico, then she is a woman scorned as well and that it is always helpful. I still feel she will unfortunately orobably wind up not getting nearly as much punishment as she deserves, but it may be an unfortunate necessity for that to happen in order to help catch and/or convict Castillo.
They once again mention Castillo is likely in Aguascalientes (literally and figuratively in hot water). I personally hope they do an age-progression of what Alex may look like today or different looks- him as a blonde, shaved hair etc...

Honestly it was a well put together segment and this segment really got me upset and thinking, Sandy Le didn’t have to die and it made me feel bad for her because she was vulnerable, and the saying the good die young, well there you go. Honestly as far as being vulnerable and willing to help, tbh I could relate to Sandy, but what Castillo did to that beautiful, innocent young lady was unnecessary and inexcusable, at 23 she basically had her life ahead of her, heck the 3 of them had their lives ahead of them, but if Castillo & Feaster worked, why couldn’t they just save up their money in order to start a new life after? Why kill another human being who had down nothing and lost her mother at such a young age, over money? If Castillo is still in Aguascalientes then the tips are gonna start pouring in, someone on the Top Ten List has to get caught, and it’s time for Sandy Le and her family to have some justice and have cold blooded killer Alejandro Castillo caught once and for all.

Yeah I've said this a lot in this thread. I don't mean this is an insult to our young poster's here, but without directly accusing anyone Castillo doesn't have the life experience to have enough street smarts to stay on the run this long as a teenager at the time of fleeing.

I compare him to the infamous DeFrancisco sisters. Granted, they didn't stay on the run as long as Alejandro has but they wouldn't have been able to stay on the run long at all if not for the fact they had help from relatives(as shown by Margaret DeFransico being busted at her aunt and uncle's.) We don't know who is helping Alejandro but it certainly is someone.

Shockingly Castillo has now been on the 10 Most Wanted List for 3 years now which is pretty crazy considering he’s outlasted Santiago Mederos, Jesus Munguia, Eduardo Ravelo, Lamont Stephenson, Brad Bishop, & Yaser Said, all of whom have been on the run longer than him.

Yeah I rarely eat crow on this forum- when I say someone will be an easy capture I'm right nine times out of 10- but in this case I was basically a boomer being overly dismissive of a teenager's ability to stay on the run (and I'm a technical millennial on top of that), but at the same time I still feel its there must people helping Castillo rather than Castillo being that bright.

I think they are close, though. The FBI has acknowledged they have received some great tips in this case.

It's *probably* unlikely but sometimes fugitives are caught and it's simply not announced yet if it's a capture in Mexico because they want to wait for the extradition process to play out, so even if Castillo is caught any time soon we may not learn about it until months or a year later, if we want to have some hope this case is hotter than it may seem.

The reason I think Alejandro Castillo has remained on the Top Ten List this long is because, I speculate that early on when they added Castillo to the Top Ten List, that he was going to be somewhere in Aguascalientes, Mexico as his accomplice Ahmia Feaster surrendered there in October 2016, and stated that they had been living with a cousin of Castillo’s while she was on the run with him.
When they added him to the Top Ten List, they probably wanted to pull a Brenda Delgado, because they had an idea of where he was in Aguascalientes. However perhaps upon being added to the FBI Ten Most Wanted or when Ahmia Feaster Surrendered, Castillo likely fled from the state of Aguascalientes to Guanajuato or Veracruz as that bit of information wasn’t revealed until after he was placed on the list.
