Case
Details: On December 22, just three days before Christmas, 19-year-old Rhonda Hinson was driving home from an office Christmas party when she vanished. She was later found dead in her car in a ditch. She had been shot in the back by an unknown assailant. Police believed at first that her murder was a random act of violence until an investigation revealed that she may have known her killer. Rhonda was acting strange in the weeks before her death and had implied to her mother that she was in a relationship with a married man. Police believe that she was being stalked by someone on the night of her death. Several witnesses reported seeing strange activity along the road that she was killed on before and after her murder. An unidentified man was also reportedly seen beside her car while it was in the ditch. Her murder has never been solved, and a $20,000 reward is being offered for information.
Suspects: A witness went under hypnosis and described the unidentified man as 5'10" to 6'0", with medium build and brown hair. He was driving a black or dark-blue Trans Am.
Extra Notes: This case first aired on the November 15, 1989 episode.
