From wncn.com (CBS North Carolina):
KERNERSVILLE, N.C. (WNCN) — A North Carolina college student missing since the Spring turned 20 on Friday, according to his family.
James “Martin” Roberts, who is from Kernersville, vanished in Boone at ASU on April 21 — four months ago.
Roberts, who went by Martin, was living in Boone and was attending Caldwell Community College.
There have been several searches for him.
“Every day there’s a reason to be sad and to miss him more than you did the day before,” Martin’s father John told WCNC-TV. “He’s the greatest kid there ever was– ever is.”
Martin’s mom, Abbie, made a cake for him and posted a photo on Facebook on Friday.
She wrote about missing her son.
“We love you and miss you more than words can say. You are constantly in my thoughts and forever in my heart. There’s a huge empty space in our life that can only be filled by you,” Abbie Martin wrote on Facebook.
She also pleaded with him to reach out and make contact — even if he couldn’t return home.
“Son, please- if you’re not in a place where you can come home right now, please just get in touch to let us know you’re safe and okay,” she wrote on Facebook.
Martin’s parents also created a hashtag #LightACandle4Martin and asked people to post photos of lit candles using that hashtag in an effort to raise awareness.
Dozens of photos of candles with the hashtag were seen on Facebook and Twitter.
If know where Roberts is, or if you see him, you’re asked to call Crime Stoppers at (828) 268-6959 or Boone Police at (828) 268-6900.

Thoughts? I also found a family Facebook page for Martin which also seems to confirm that he is unfortunately still missing as of this posting date (2/26/2017): m.facebook.com/groups/HelpFindMartinRoberts/?view=group
