Once inside, Robert was assaulted, had his head and hands taped with duct tape and was strangled to death with a cord. Three of the four killers have since been convicted in Robert's murder, including Angela Vargas. The man who detectives say strangled Robert is Samuel Mora Bonilla who is still at large. Based on investigative agencies, it is advised to contact the Kitsap County Sheriff's Office at 360-337-7101 if you have any information on Samuel Mora Bonilla's whereabouts.

As I've often said, I never will encourage anyone to get involved in drug dealing or trafficking as it is far too dangerous of a lifestyle. That doesn't mean however that Robert Wadding deserved to be murdered, the people responsible had no right to strangle him to death. As for Samuel's current whereabouts, Mexico is a possibility as always. web.kitsapsun.com/archive/2004/03-19/428279_man_who_dumped_body_of_murder_v.htmlwww.kitsapgov.com/sheriff/incustody/mostwanted/

Scary to wonder what Bonilla has been up to the past 14 years.

As of today, July 4, 2023, Bonilla is still on the Kitsap County Sheriff Most Wanted list. The list states it was most recently updated on May 20th of this year.
PACER records mention that an Unlawful Flight To Avoid Prosecution (UFAP) warrant was issued in 2004. It was dismissed without prejudice in 2007 because the Kitsap County Prosecutor's Office would not seek Bonilla's extradition, despite the fugitive being located in Mexico *sigh*.
