Authorities in Michigan are hunting down the unidentified killer of 7-year old Raven Jeffries. Her case was aired on AMW four times from 2007 to 2009. On the evening of August 4, 2006, Raven was riding her bike in front of her home in her Detroit neighbourhood. She disappeared, according to her older brother when she walked down the street. Three days later, her remains were found in the nearby suburb of Romulus, Michigan. Her remains had been burned so badly that they were nearly unrecognizable. As of 2011, the investigation has come to a screeching halt. Authorities have said that in 2011 the last tip came in a year-and-a-half prior. In 2007, actress Pauley Perette offered a $10,000 reward for information but that didn't help in leading to an arrest. It doesn't help that she disappeared in Detroit which is plagued by the Stop Snitchin code (persuading witnesses to stop cooperating with authorities under threats of violence). Thoughts? There's really not a lot to work with here and the only hope really imo is if a witness comes forward. It seems a classic abduction and murder case, but considering the body is burned I take it that it might be impossible to tell if she was sexually assaulted in any way.
