LACONIA— The New Hampshire Joint Fugitive Task Force and the U.S. Marshals are still in search of a fugitive who escaped nearly 17 years ago from a minimum security prison in Laconia.
Tirson Soto, 49, escaped from prison in Dec of 2000 while serving a sentence for three counts of the sale of cocaine, according to The Citizen.
It is unknown if Soto is hiding in the Dominican Republic or in the U.S. while using an alias. Soto previously used the alias of Maximo Lara, according to U.S. Marshals.
Soto is 5'10" and around 180 pounds. Marshals say he should be considered armed and dangerous.
Anyone who may have any information about Soto's whereabouts should call the U.S. Marshals Service at 603-225-1632 or notify their local police department of his sighting.

Thoughts? Tirson Soto isn't wanted for the most serious crime on this forum, but he has still been at large for 16 years. Where there's drugs, there's often weapons and violence so Tirson still poses a threat to society if he's still involved in this type of criminal behaviour.
