Angeline Hartman was on the show last night! So I guess periodically we'll see some of our former AMW favorites. She was interviewing three kids from an infamous New Jersey "hell house" case where their adoptive parents neglected, beat, and nearly starved them to death. There were four children overall. The oldest one is now in an assisted living facility, but the three other boys have thrived and started a non-profit for children to report neglect and abuse. Man, why does Angeline Hartmann always get these "torture dungeon" stories? When she worked for AMW she also reported on the case of Kenneth Hinson, who held two teenager girls hostage in a torture dungeon he built underneath his trailer. He was later acquitted.

LOL I don't know.
In any case, I forgot to add the piece on Sarah Pender with Michelle Sigona was very well done. It was neutral and just told the facts of the case and why the Prosecutor now is trying to help Pender. And I have to be honest, as much as I disliked Pender's actions and attitude pre and post-escape, I'm now beginning to question whether she got a fair trial myself, despite what I've said in the past here and the old forum. This is still a complicated case where I'm torn, where part of me doesn't trust her and I still feel that she's manipulative, but the other part of me doesn't like some of the evidence she was convicted on. I certainly don't think she should be released, but I'm surprised she hasn't at least been given a new trial.
