Date of Birth: 03/09/1976
Description: Hispanic Male, 6’3” tall,
200 pounds, black hair and brown eyes
On October 25, 2004 at approximately 9:50 a.m., members of the Denver Police Department received a call to the area of W. Florida Avenue and South Federal Blvd. on a report of a shooting.
Upon arrival, officers learned that thirty-five year old Nicolas Ferrel-Ibarra was confronted at his vehicle by two suspects. The suspects demanded the' (bank deposit) money that Nicolas Ferrel-Ibarra had in his possession. After Nicolas Ferrel-Ibarra attempted to drive-off to avoid being robbed, he was shot to death.
During the follow-up investigation by Denver Police Homicide Detectives, suspect Felipe Jesus Buelna (pictured
above) was identified as one of the prime suspects involved in the robbery/homicide of Nicolas Ferrel-Ibarra.
Currently, a warrant for Felipe Jesus Buelna’s arrest has been issued for Investigation of First Degree Murder.
