(Above: Left: Elijah Moore Right: Enrique Rios Photo Credits: abc10.com) From abc10.com: SACRAMENTO - The mothers of two Yolo County teenagers are pleading for their return. Enrique Rios, 16 and Elijah Moore, 17, go to school together. Neither have cars. Enrique went missing six weeks ago. Elijah went missing three weeks later. There are no leads, and their moms said they will put up missing posters until they get answers. Alicia Moore is Elijah's mom and Lola Rios is Enrique's mom. They sat together in the Rios family living room clinching posters of their sons. “Where’s my baby at, because it is cold outside,” Moore said. They said thoughts run through their minds. Days have turned to weeks and now, it's more than a month for Rios. "We are over here trying to find our children, and we don’t know if they are okay," Rios said. Both mothers said their sons were not angels. They recently got in trouble for fighting at school and were moved to a continuation school and placed on probation. Because they had good behavior, the teens were able to work in a construction program where they made money and learned different trades. Enrique is the only one that has ever ran away before but never this long. “There is nothing to suggest he was doing anything else other than school and work,” Moore said. They vanished without a trace, Elijah on his way home, and Enrique with a text that said he needed to be free. With a plea of hope and prayers and desperation, the families begged for the boys to come home or someone to come forward. “Please come home. Please come home,” Moore said. If you have any information on these teens contact Woodland Police (530) 666-2411 or Yolo County Sheriff's Office (530) 666-8282. www.abc10.com/news/local/two-yolo-county-teens-missing-for-weeks/356071978NCMEC links: Elijah Moore: www.missingkids.com/poster/NCMC/1281026Enrique Rios: www.missingkids.org/poster/NCMC/1279730/1/screenUpdate: According to "Crime Watch Daily" airing, Anyone with information related to the case is urged to contact the FBI at (800) 225-5324. Moving Elijah and Enrique's cases to "Missing on TV" since Crime Watch Daily did a segment on their disappearances today. Apparently there is major concern since despite their troubles their recent disappearances are out of character and both boys sent text messages to their mothers that did not sound like the way they usually speak. (Enrique posted about needing to get away from stress while Elijah claimed he was with a girl in the Bay Area-which didn't make sense to his mom since Elijah has family in the Bay Area and would have contacted them). I do admit this sounded like a runaway case to me at first reading the news articles but now that I've watched the segment on tv I am very concerned. Or the girl was actually someone wanting to kidnap him?

I think both mothers fear that perhaps there was a male at their construction program that befriended them and lured them away.

Unfortunately living in a world where everything is not completely perfect, I fear that if that's the case, it's not that far fetched. This all goes back to the Lyons disappearance, multiple people, however in this case it's very bizarre since they both knew each other and disappeared only six weeks apart.

This is one of the strangest missing children cases I've seen in quite some time. Elijah and Enrique were apparently friends but no one knows how close they were and the mothers had never met each other before they disappeared. But then for them to disappear not together but six weeks apart is very odd.
Elijah had went into a check cashing business the same day he disappeared which just confounds the mystery.

So he was going to take out some money to take off and start a run? Plus if he said he was going to see a girl in the Bay Area it wouldn't be far fetched, but my main concern is who is that girl or person Elijah was talking to? I feel they could be the key as to having any info regarding what may have happened both or at least Elijah.

I think that's the thing is the mother seems to suspect there is no girl and someone else was using Elijah's phone pretending to be him and using that as a ruse to make her think nothing was wrong.

The situation with Elijah seems so complicated, but Enrique seems to be pretty clear that he needed to get away, but has experienced running away before however I assume it was the I'm returning in 2 hours type of runaway. The only plausible theory I have is that the 2 of them got caught up with some bad people or as you've stated, someone in that program befriended them and took advantage of them.

Enrique's mother stated even though he was troubled and ran away before, the text did not resemble his way of talking and disappearing for this long is unlike him. These are not clear runaway cases for either child.in my opinion after viewing the CWD segment. Perhaps Enrique and Elijah planned to run away together for unknown reasons. But I feel there is enough reason for the causes of concern to be completely justified.

Not to assume anything negative about these 2 gentlemen, but if they planned to runaway together, could it be likely they were just fed up with their normal lives and wanted to start brand new, or they owed some money to bad actors and couldn't come up with the cash, then as a way of avoiding everything awful, they decided to runaway.

Both are well thought out theories which would explain why Elijah was taking out cash. That is the problem with this case. A lot of plausible theories but no definitive answers.

So sadly it sounds like it's now believed Elijah and Enrique have been murdered but their bodies have not been found yet either.
