In a case which I think will remind AMW fans of Beacher Hackney, Javier Burgos was a former high school janitor who is now wanted for questioning in a double homicide after two of his co-workers were found dead. This a case where I tried to hodgepodge a few details found in the links instead of just posting a news article since it is a complicated one.
The bodies of Ted Orama and Christopher Marshall were found dead on the morning of Wednesday, June 19th, 2013 at the Dreyfoos School For The Arts where they worked as custodians. Since then, Burgos, a fellow custodian, has become a suspect in the case, and depending on who you talk to, a Jekyll-and-Hyde-esque history seems to have emerged.
Some neighbors described him as quiet but those who worked with him describe fearing him. One neighbor was in shock while the manager of the Crosley Villas where Burgos lived described him as "nice" and always paid his rent on time. However, according to documents, in July 2010, Orama told the district of complaints made by custodians in the maintenance department. Burgos allegedly challenged a co-worker to a fight, grabbed his crotch in front of a female co-worker and encouraged a female co-worker to bring “her man” to fight with him. Another co-worker claims Burgos harassed him and once called him a "monkey".
Burgos sister is at shock at the allegations. She also claims he's on medication for his depression but urges Burgos to turn himself in.
It's important to note Burgos is only wanted for questioning and has not yet been charged in the case. But if he's still out there, considering his history of alleged odd behavior and depression, it's important he be found, both for himself and for others safety...
Javier Burgos is 53 years old. He is 5'4, 180 pounds, with glasses, black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen driving 2010 Silver Toyota Camry with the license plate 284-PRH
