CNN now has previews for both Donna Borup and Mario Lozano up on website so seems official the tvguides got it wrong. Don't get why they listed the Dion episode as usually if there's a discrepancy it's them listing an old episode instead of the upcoming new episode, not another upcoming new episode. (I hope that made sense) www.cnn.com/2017/11/01/us/the-hunt-john-walsh-mario-albert-lozano-donna-borup/More likely the Dion episode is an old one from season 2. It was supposed to air on season 2 but because he was captured he wasn't. It was still scheduled in the press release, but for November 15th, not November 1st.

they're going to give him the Arthur Crabtree episode where they're going to air the case anyway since they already filmed it. (I think technically they do have the show the episodes even if the fugitive was captured).

Matthew Dion episode that finally aired was excellent and well-done and left me with the impression that as horrible as Yaser Said is, it had a "season premiere" feel to it and Dion might have been the season 2 debut fugitive had he not been caught.
One thing not revealed before is it's believed Dion had killed his parents FIVE DAYS before the arson and was sleeping with their dead bodies in their basement, and that's just beyond sick.
It also did a good job highlighting how senseless the murder was as Dion was mooching off his parents, had a girlfriend and children, and basically threw it all away to flee to Florida under similar circumstances. Also felt terrible for his girlfriend who was interviewed that went through all this.
Now we know for sure every fugitive left to profile this season is at the moment still at large so glad they got all the captured fugitives out of the way for the final stretch.

Overall I think The Hunt has been better on HLN (would have been better if on both HLN and CNN as originally planned but cest la vie), but I think this upcoming Mektrakarn case will be an exception if he's in Thailand as CNN has a little more global reach than HLN does. Hope to be proven wrong.

It was a good episode tonight in regards to Kim Mektrakarn and Luis Garcia's disappearance. In the beginning, I had a fear I was going to be bored, as I was wondering how they're going to make an episode revolving around factory work interesting, but thankfully the set-up was short and the main conflict/mystery came forward quickly enough.
Should be mentioned Luis and his cousins came to America through the coyotes, probably had nothing to do with Guillermo Ballesteros, just mentioning if you think about it there is somewhat of a roundabout connection between this and a previous case.

Hopefully the new top ten fugitives such as Mederos and Munguia are shown in Season 5. Shame that this season is almost over.

Hopefully next year there’s 24 episodes Haha well there's usually 8 so I feel beggars can't be choosers. Unless 16 episodes is the new norm from here as it was only The Hunt’s first few seasons. This year proved to be successful with 16 episodes and many captures during the season, so it’s likely they’ll do this all over again next season.

Recap of season finale:
-Mario Lozano profile was good and they did a good job of making you feel sympathy for Isaac and his family and that although Isaac was also a gang member he was more a victim of lifestyle and trying to defend his cousin than anything else.
One small thing I noticed that I think may be an interesting tidbit is that although Isaac's murder happened in Watsonville, California- the re-enactment seems to in my view have clearly been filmed in New York City. I clearly saw the same type of bus signs we have here in the city, and the trees looked like city trees and not California trees. Although I can't say what borough this was filmed in except probably not Manhattan.
-Donna Borup profile was really interesting despite only being 20 minutes- and I hope this doesn't come across wrong- but the graphics and the way they told story was really cool and artistically speaking probably the best narration of the season. Black and white still slow motion picture photography, it had an 80's feel with modern graphics. Excellently done. As John Walsh stated, what Borup's group was protesting was something to be upset about- apartheid in South Africa- but the way they went about it was completely wrong, and hopefully Officer Goodstein will one day have justice. (I assume he may have passed away by now since we only heard him and his wife's voice via snippets of a tape recorded interview- but he still deserves justice)

And oh yeah that's it, but hopefully we don't have to wait forever for season 5 now that The Hunt's no longer on a breaking news channel lol.
