In November of 2014, Kerry Gittens and Tyree Byrd forced their way into the home of Antwan Jones in San Antonio, Texas. Antwan was then shot to death in front of his five-year old son. Kerry fled to Houston where authorities arrested him the following year. Kerry then was tried for Antwan's murder, but fled the day of the jury's verdict in August 2016. The jury subsequently found Kerry guilty.
According to the US Marshals, Kerry Gittens may have this time around fled the state of Texas to evade law enforcement.

Thoughts? As always it is certainly inexcusable to commit murder, it is even worse to subject the victim's child(ren) to witness the murder of their parents! There is no question of Kerry Gittens's guilt, he was found guilty in a court of law. According to the US Marshals, he was born in Georgia so if he did flee Texas, that is one possible hideout for him.
