Some of you may remember one of my unfinished projects on the old forums was a complete episode guide for America's Most Wanted. I decided to start off with 2003, since that was the first calender year I saw the show. I saw every episode except for one, and feel like I've kept tabs on everything that's gone on for all the fugitives from that year. So I've decided to bring back the episode guide for everyone here. I'll try to talk about one month per post (except my first one, since January and February didn't have that many episodes. They'll be together) and hopefully I'll get everything done by the time August begins. I'll be posting the show date, show "theme" (if there was one), who was profiled, length of profile, and information on current whereabouts. If you have any suggestions, please let me know! Episode 703 - January 4, 2003 ("Countdown to Justice 2002")Andre Neverson (COPS Credits) - Wanted for killing his ex-girlfriend and his own sister in New York. He was captured in 2018 following a traffic stop in Connecticut.
Guillermo del Prado (Full segment) - Led U.S. Customs agents on a high-speed boat and foot chase in Florida. Surrendered in January 2003 and became Capture #739.
Dimitrios Androutsopoulos (Full segment) - Took part in a home invasion where a man was killed and the man's 12-year-old son was permanently paralyzed. Captured in Greece in 2005, but they refused to extradite him. He was tried in a Greek court where he was convicted and received a 14-year prison sentence.
(commercial break)
Edward Morris (Brief, approx. 2 minutes) - Wanted out of Oregon for killing his pregnant wife and three children. Captured the same night after a family friend spotted his car driving down the highway. He pleaded guilty and was given a life sentence.
Armando Garcia (Full segment) - Killed a sheriff's deputy who pulled him over during a routine traffic stop. While on the run he burned so many bridges that his former associates turned him in. Captured in 2006, he pleaded guilty in 2007 and is serving life in prison.
Anthony Chang (Brief, approx. 1 minute, 30 seconds) - Sent a bomb to his former brother-in-law as a way of getting revenge on his ex-wife for divorcing him. The bomb was hidden in a toy puppy and killed the man instantly. Chang was captured in Venezuela in 2011.
(commercial break)
Francisco Martinez (Full segment) - A textile factory worker, he killed his boss - who treated him like a son - after the man discovered Martinez had been stealing from the company and was responsible for setting a fire in the plant a few weeks earlier. Still at large.
(commercial break)
Unknown Baton Rouge Serial Killer (Full segment) - Police were seeking a then-unknown fugitive who was linked to 4 murders at the time (though this segment didn't mention Dene Colomb's murder). In May 2003, police linked convicted rapist Derrick Todd Lee to the crime, and he was arrested after a weeklong manhunt. He's been linked to 7 murders, but police think he may have committed up to 10 or more. Lee died while on death row.
(commercial break)
Laci Peterson (Break 4 Tease) - Pregnant woman who disappeared on Christmas Eve. Her body was found in April 2003 and her husband, Scott Peterson, was later convicted in the case. He's now on death row in California.
(commercial break continues)
Loren Key (Brief, approx. 2 minutes) - Went on a crime spree in Ohio which included shooting at two police officers, carjacking two people and breaking into a home. He was caught in March 2003 after trying to board a bus without a ticket. Key was convicted and is now serving prison time.
Michael Brashar (Full profile) - Killed two young women in 1982, but wasn't charged in the cases until 2001 because of a lack of evidence. Thanks to AMW's investigative unit, he was found in Alabama where he'd been living a quiet life on a family farm with his wife, making him Capture #763. Brashar is now serving a life sentence. Episode #704 - January 25, 2003 ("Baton Rouge Serial Killer Special Edition")
Unknown Baton Rouge Serial Killer (Multi-part profile) - Taking up most of the show, John Walsh and the AMW team discussed the latest murder of the Baton Rouge Serial Killer (Army Veteran Dene Colomb) and discussed what tactics police were using to try and track the killer down. The show included a look at what led to past serial killers getting caught (Ted Bundy, Gary Ridgeway and Arthur Shawcross were dicussed), what evidence police had against the killer, and a mini-documentary by AMW producer Ray Farkas. This was the killer's last profile before his May 2003 capture. Derrick Lee was identified as the killer in May 2003, and he died while awaiting execution on death row.
Andrew Luster (Full segment, though classified as breaking news) - Max Factor heir who absconded from his multi-count rape trial in California. He was convicted and sentenced in absentia to over 100 years in prison, but by then had fled to Mexico. Captured in June 2003 thanks to famous bounty hunter Duane "Dog" Chapman, who claims he was inspired to track down Luster after seeing his AMW profile. AMW repeatedly said Chapman had nothing to do with the show and kept their distance from him, though he was mentioned in Luster's capture report.
Laci Peterson (Breaking news, approx. 3-4 minutes) - Update on the latest in the search for Laci Peterson, including the revelation that her husband, Scott Peterson, was cheating on her.
Victor Rodas (All-Points Bulletin) - Alcoholic who slashed his housemate to death with a machete after the victim refused to buy Rodas more alcohol. Still at large
Scott Brinegar (All-Points Bulletin) - Bank robber who walked into a Virginia bank with a lunch box, claiming it was a bomb and that he'd detonate it if he didn't get the money. The bomb was a fake, but by the time police found out Brinegar was gone. Still at large
Phillip Ferguson (All-Points Bulletin) - Scammed $22 million from his friends and neighbors after promising to make them millions on the commodities market. One victim was reduced to selling tomatoes from his garden to make a few bucks to survive. Ferguson committed suicide in 2012 after police finally tracked him down.
Joseph Grate (Break 4 Tease) - Wanted for killing a man in Virginia on Valentine's Day 2002. Captured sometime in 2003 (his capture report was never published on amw.com) Episode #705 - February 1, 2003 ("Bad Girls Special Edition")Desiree Lingo-Perkins (Full segment) - Texas prostitute who was a key player in the ransom-motivated kidnapping and murder of a 19-year-old who worked at a plastics factory. Perkins was the one who made the ransom calls to the victim's father, who didn't know his son had been dead the whole time. Captured in Mexico in 2004 after an AMW tipster providing an exact address, making her Capture #811. She's since pleaded guilty and received a life sentence.
(commercial break)
Laci Peterson (Full segment) - Update on the disappearance of Laci Peterson. John Walsh reported from in front of the Peterson home in Modesto, and this segment featured an exclusive interview between Ed Miller and Scott Peterson. Peterson refused to answer most of the questions. John Walsh later revealed on Larry King Live that he was supposed to be the one to interview Peterson, but he wouldn't answer the door for Walsh.
(commercial break)
Steven Harrison, Tamika Hamilton and Errol Turnage (Full segment) - A stripper named Tamika Hamilton was invited to a home in North Carolina, where she entertained for the night. The next day two men committed a home invasion and shot one of the men who lived there in the back, paralyzing him. They then set the house on fire, hoping to kill everyone there, but everybody survived. Police identified one of the suspects as Steven Harrison, Hamilton's cousin. Harrison, whose real name is Toby Beck, was discovered in a Tennessee jail the night of the broadcast, making him Capture #740. Tipsters also identified Errol Turnage as the unknown accomplice, and days later Turnage and Hamilton were captured in Las Vegas. Hamilton was Capture #741 and Turnage Capture #742.
(commercial break)
Hazel Head (All-Points Bulletin) - Killed her boyfriend by shooting him in the back of the head while he was standing in the kitchen. Head has dozens of aliases and has been married 10 different times. Still at large.
Svetlana Vitman (All-Points Bulletin) - Russian immigrant who killed the wealthy businessman that smuggled her into the country after he threatened to leave her. She was arrested in Amsterdam in 1996, but was released. Still at large.
(commercial break)
William Kittrell (Break 4 Tease) - Wanted for killing his wife and burying her body in his backyard. He was removed from amw.com without any explanation around 2009/2010. Still at large.
(commercial break continues)
Carlos Cervantes (Full segment, though classified as breaking news) - Car mechanic who killed two men after one of them complained that Cervantes had driven his car when he was supposed to be fixing it up. He was last seen running away from the crime scene wearing a poncho. Cervantes was captured in 2014, but was acquitted at trial.
Episode note: When amw.com first revealed the fugitives that were going to be profiled, scam artist Lottie Mae Stanley was listed among the fugitives. However, she never made it to air for reasons that were never made clear. She was eventually profiled in March 2003. Episode #706 - February 15, 2003 ("Crimes of Passion Special Edition")Timothy McGhee (Two-Part Segment) - The leader of the infamous TVR street gang in Los Angeles, McGhee was a crystal meth dealer who had been linked to at least 14 murders. He was also accused of orchestrating an ambush for police who were pursuing two TVR gang members. The same week of his AMW profile, McGhee was captured in Arizona thanks to great police work. He's now on death row in California.
Carmen Cabrera (All-Points Bulletin) - Factory worker who killed her boss after he decided to break off their relationship, which allowed Cabrera to show up for work and not have to do anything. Still at large.
Joseph Maloney (All-Points Bulletin) - Back in the 60s, he allegedly poisoned his wife with methyl alcohol, which literally embalmed her while she was still alive. He escaped from a medium-security hospital and disappeared. Irish police arrested him in the 80s, but released him without taking an updated mugshot. At almost 78 years old, he's still at large.
Daniel Perez (All-Points Bulletin) - During his attempted murder trial, where he was charged with trying to kill his wife, he allegedly shot and killed her father after breaking into his house. Captured in 2006 in Mexico and extradited back to America in 2007.
(commercial break)
Brian Mitchell and Elizabeth Smart (Breaking News, approx. 3 minutes) - AMW announces that police want to question transient Brian David Mitchell about the disappearance of Elizabeth Smart. Mitchell was captured a month after this airing and Smart was recovered alive. In 2011, Mitchell was convicted of kidnapping and sentenced to prison.
Joseph Crouch (Full segment) - Killed his wife of 40 years when he realized she was going to discover he gambled away all their money, embezzled from the family business and was cheating on her. AMW tipsters led to his arrest in March 2003 as Capture #747. He's now serving life in prison after pleading guilty.
(commercial break)
Marcus Head (Full segment) - Jealous man who killed his ex-wife's new boyfriend by shooting him in the head and stabbing his wife over 20 times with a pair of scissors. He also bit off part of her friend's chin when he tried to stop Head's assault. Captured during a routine traffic stop in 2005. He's now serving life without parole.
Thomas Deering Capture (Full segment) - Rick Segall reports on the capture of prison escapee Thomas Deering, who was serving time in a Wisconsin prison for raping a woman in her own home. Tips sent police to the Chicago suburbs where he was participating in a LARP (live-action role play) and trying to ingratiate himself with the goth crowd. But he was gone by the time investigators got there. He was arrested in December 2002 after providing false ID to a police officer in California.
(commercial break)
Mohammad Khan (Break 4 Tease) - Suspected Al Qaeda operative wanted for questioning regarding terrorist attacks. It was later determined that the man photographed was completely innocent, but the name Mohammad Sher Mohammad Khan was somehow linked to Adnan El Shukrijumah.
(commercial break continues) Episode note: John Walsh said at the tail-end of the show that Timothy McGhee's capture report would air on the following week's episode. However, it ended up airing on the March 1, 2003 episode, most likely due to the fact the February 22 show was already mostly completed. Episode #707 - February 22, 2003 ("FBI's Ten Most Wanted Special Edition")
Cassandra Woods (Two-Part Segment) - A member of an Arizona skinhead group, Woods instigated a bar fight that led to the beating death of a 19-year-old who was just waiting outside the bar for someone to pick him up. The victim's father actually tracked down the leader of the skinhead group by convincing one of his buddies to become an informant. Woods was the only one who got away, but AMW tipsters led to her arrest within 24 hours of her appearance on the show, making her Capture #743.
(commercial break)
Michael Alfonso (Brief, approx. 30 seconds) - AMW reveals the newest member of the FBI's Ten Most Wanted, Michael Alfonso, who was wanted for killing two ex-girlfriends in the Chicago suburbs over the course of nine years. Though AMW doesn't take credit for his capture, Alfonso's arrest in July 2004 is believed to be a result of the show, making him Capture #803. He's now serving life in prison with a caveat that if he escapes, he'll be sent to death row (which is a moot point because Illinois abolished the death penalty last year).
James "Whitey" Bulger (Full profile) - Boston mob boss wanted for ordering at least 19 murders. He disappeared after his indictment in 1994. At the time, the latest information was that Bulger was hiding out in London, where an old acquaintance spotted him walking down the street. Bulger was finally captured in June 2011, where it was discovered he'd lived in California the whole time.
Joseph Crouch (Brief, approx. 3 minutes) - Update on the case of Joseph Crouch, which AMW profiled the previous week. Tipsters spotted Crouch all over the southeast, where he hadn't given up his favorite activity of performing karaoke. Crouch was able to initially elude tipsters, but he was caught just a couple weeks later.
(commercial break)
Sofia Juarez (Breaking news, approx. 15-20 seconds) - Missing child alert for Sofia Juarez, who disappeared from Washington State the day before her birthday. Still missing.
Robert Fisher (Full profile) - Apparent Jekyll & Hyde type who murdered his entire family then rigged their home to blow up. AMW brought in retired FBI Agent Ralph DiFonzo to try and track Fisher down, but the successful investigator wasn't able to get any new leads. An interesting note is that this night was when the FBI revealed its new photos of Fisher to show his beard and shaved yet. To this date, AMW has never aired those photos on-air. Still at large.
Hopeton Brown (Brief, approx. 1 minute) - Jamaican drug kingpin wanted for one murder in his homeland and two in the states. Killed in a shootout with Jamaican police in March 2004.
Victor Gerena (Brief, approx. 1 minute) - Los Macheteros member who stole millions of dollars from the armored car company where he worked in order to fund the separatist group's operations. To date, he is the last remaining Los Macheteros fugitive still at large, and has the record for longest-lasting FBI Top Tenner in history. Still at large.
Richard Goldberg (Brief, approx. 1 minute) - Suspected pedophile charged with molesting six little girls he was tasked with babysitting in Long Beach, California. Captured in Canada in 2007; he later pleaded guilty and is now serving 20 years in federal prison.
(commercial break)
Julian Lockhart (Break 4 Tease) - Beat a young armed services member to death with a tree branch after the man sought Lockhart out to buy a car. AMW tips led to his capture in June 2003, making him Capture #754.
(commercial break continues)
The final four fugitives were "rapid-fire" profiles that simply listed the fugitive's name and what they were wanted for. The entire segment lasted about 15-20 seconds.
Eric Rudolph - The infamous Olympic Park bomber who was also accused of bombing several abortion clinics and a gay nightclub. Captured rummaging through garbage in May 2003, he's now serving multiple life sentences at the Supermax prison in Colorado.
Glen Godwin - Escape artist wanted for two murders in two different countries. Still at large.
Donald Webb - At the time the longest-serving FBI Top Tenner, Webb shot and killed a police officer in Pennsylvania. He was removed in March 2007 because he no longer met the criteria for being on the list. Though still at large, the now-82-year-old Webb is believed by many to be dead, with some certain he was killed by either the police officer's own gun or by mob associates for attracting too much attention. This is also Webb's last AMW profile. Webb was eventually discovered to have died in 2000 and was buried in his wife's backyard.
Osama Bin Laden - Al Qaeda leader wanted for multiple terrorist attacks over the world, including 9/11. Killed by U.S. special forces in Pakistan in May 2011. Episode notes: Even though this was an FBI's Ten Most Wanted special edition, only two Top Tenners got full profiles (Whitey Bulger and Robert Fisher); the rest were reduced to brief profiles, though Michael Alfonso ended up getting a full profile a month later. Also, this episode featured the last profiles of Eric Rudolph, Hopeton Brown and Donald Webb (you can also technically count Osama Bin Laden, since his July 2008 "profile" was just FBI Director Robert Mueller saying something like "You go after all the fugitives, including Osama Bin Laden," while it showed archived footage of the terrorist leader in the background).
I plan on adding the March episodes sometime before the weekend. Again, let me know if there's anything you'd like to see improved!

This is great! I'm bored at work, so going through this is a nice way to kill time. It's ironic that AMW did not want to give Champan credit for Andrew Luster's capture. Not sure if you read through, but one of the only times that any news source talked about AMW possibly finding a new home- the Los Angeles Times claimed that have executives on CMT "have their eyes on America's Most Wanted." If that were to become a reality, both Dog and John Walsh would be on the same network. It's like a guy from the Yankees and a guy from the Red Sox getting traded to the Mets. I really wish I saved the episodes I taped, and I really wish I had thought of taping each episode when I was younger. Heck, I wish I didn't delete all the Lifetime episodes off my DVR, lol. I only have one somewhat "classic" Fox episode- the one where Michael Astorga's addition to the top 10 list was announced. Looking forward to seeing your future episode guides!

Thanks! I've actually got nearly every episode from 2002-2012 recorded on VHS (there's about 6-7 I don't have) so I'm able to recap most of the episodes fairly easily. On to the March 2003 episodes! Episode #708 - March 1, 2003Unknown Ronald Bridges Killer (Full segment) - Police in Houston, Texas are seeking a man who robbed a video game store and hid out in the attic of a home belonging to Ronald Bridges. The robber fell through the ceiling and when Ronald confronted him, the man strangled him to death, then stole the victim's car. Still at large.
Brian Mitchell and Elizabeth Smart (Full segment, though classified as breaking news) - An update on the search for Elizabeth Smart and (at the time) person of interest Brian Mitchell. Following his original airing in February, four of Mitchell's stepchildren contacted AMW and agreed to be interviewed by Rick Segall. Two of his stepsons even conducted their own search for Mitchell, who they said could very well have been involved in Elizabeth's abduction. Mitchell and Elizabeth were found a little more than a week after this episode aired. Mitchell was AMW Capture #746 and Elizabeth the show's 36th recovery.
(commercial break)
Unknown Fairfax Co. Taxi Cab Robber (Full segment) - A cab driver in Arlington, Virginia, was robbed at gun- and knife-point by two suspects he had picked up for a ride. The suspects had no idea the cab had a surveillance system which got clear images of their faces. One suspect was arrested, but the other was not found. Still at large, as far as I can tell, and the statute of limitations has likely expired on this case.
(commercial break)
James Singleton (Full segment) - Texas man who was accused of slashing his adoptive parents to death with a Chinese militia sword. Reportedly his parents feared Singleton, who had trouble finding jobs and drugs. He was arrested in Arkansas under an alias in May 2003, but it wasn't discovered it was Singleton until September.
(commercial break)
Gregory Riviera (Full segment) - Womanizer and habitual liar who allegedly killed one of his girlfriends after she refused to accept a bracelet he bought for her. Riviera actually initially cooperated with investigators, but disappeared the day before the warrant was issued for his arrest. Still at large.
(commercial break)
Genero Dorantes and Martha Patlan (Break 4 Tease) - Couple wanted for torturing and killing Patlan's young son. Patlan surrendered in March 2006 and gave up the location of where Dorantes was hiding. Dorantes is serving 22 years plus life, while Patlan is serving 20 years plus life.
(commercial break continued)
Timothy McGhee Capture (Full profile) - Leader of LA's TVR street gang who was arrested the same week he was given a two-part profile on AMW. Police work led to his capture in Arizona, where he was pulled over by a SWAT team while driving down the street. According to police, McGhee was adjusting his mustache and shaving his head before his walk of shame shot. He told an AMW camera crew, "I'm innocent, man. I'm innocent" as he was walked to jail. He's now on death row in California. Episode #709 - March 8, 2003 ("Obsessions Special Edition")Stalkers Feature (Full segment) - Ed Miller discusses stalkers and why they do what they do. Featured is the case of a California TV reporter who was stalked by an obsessed man who was convinced she was hiding secret messages for him in her broadcasts.
(commercial break)
Ricardo Caputo Feature (Full segment) - Ashleigh Banfield profiles the case of deceased lady-killer Ricardo Caputo, and how his obsession with himself caused him to kill.
John Walsh "tacked on" profiles of two accused of killing the women they claimed to love:
John Addis - Former Alaska State Trooper who kidnapped and murdered his girlfriend the day she broke off their relationship. It took three years to find her body, but by then Addis was gone. He was found dead in Guatemala in 2006 after he killed his new family in Mexico.
Dudley Forbes - Canadian who stalked his ex-girlfriend to the point he shot up a night club she was partying at one night. She lived, but two innocent people were killed. He was captured in his homeland of Jamaica in April 2004, and is now serving life in prison.
(commercial break)
Terry Drake and Lindsey Ryan (Breaking news, approx. 1 minute) - Drake, a convicted rapist and murderer, disappeared with 14-year-old Lindsey Ryan, who he met online. It was never clear if he abducted her or if she went willingly with him. After about a month, the two were located. I can't find any information on what happened to either one of them.
Shasta Co. Child Molesters Feature (Full segment) - Pat Lalama gives viewers a look at Shasta County, California, which has an unusually high population of registered sex offenders living in the community.
(commercial break)
The Zodiac Killer (Full segment) - To illustrate the "serial killer" obsession, John Walsh profiles the unidentified Zodiac Killer, who terrorized San Francisco back in the 60s. Still at large.
(commercial break)
Marlon Winters (Break 4 Tease) - Wanted for molesting several children in Texas. Still at large.
(commercial break continues)
Amy Billig (Full segment) - Missing teenager who disappeared in the 70s, allegedly kidnapped by an outlaw motorcycle gang. Her mother, Sue Billig, became obsessed with finding her daughter. Despite a deathbed confession from a biker saying Amy was killed the night she was kidnapped, Sue refused to believe it. Sue Billig died from cancer in 2006. Amy Billig is still missing and presumed deceased. Episode notes: This episode was a rerun from three years earlier. Because a good chunk of fugitives from the original broadcast had been captured (namely the four "Redding Molesters") a lot had to be cut out of this rerun. AMW also filmed this episode with little light and a ton of shadows, which gave it an overall creepy feel. I'm curious as to what made AMW decide to rerun a) an episode as old as this one and b) one that contained two correspondents who had long since left the show (Ashleigh Banfield and Pat Lalama).Episode #710 - March 15, 2003Brian Mitchell Capture and Elizabeth Smart Recovery - In-depth report on the amazing recovery of Elizabeth Smart and the capture of her suspected abductor, Brian Mitchell. This segment featured John Walsh interviewing both Ed Smart and the Montoyas, who called in the tip that led to Elizabeth's recovery. Now a married college graduate, Elizabeth has become a motivational speaker and contributor to ABC News.
Terry Drake and Lindsey Ryan (Brief, approx. 1 minute) - The latest in the case of missing Michigan teen Lindsey Ryan and her alleged abductor, Terry Drake. This update included information that the two had been spotted at campgrounds in Wyoming, California and Arizona. Lindsey was recovered and Drake captured a little more than a week after this profile.
(commercial break)
Hal Atchley (Full profile) - Fugitive wanted for minor charges until he shot and killed a bounty hunter that was trying to track him down. Atchley fled the scene with his girlfriend, Janice Rogers, who was wanted for questioning. I don't know what happened to her, but Atchley was captured in May 2003 thanks to investigative work. He was convicted of murder and as of 2006 was still trying to appeal. Interestingly, the judge who presided over Atchley's trial was once his attorney! She represented him in 1986 on an escape charge and he got really mad at her because she told him to plead guilty to a lesser charge. He refused, saying he didn't do it.
(commercial break)
Unknown New York Sunrise Killer (Breaking news, approx. 1 minute, 30 seconds) - Alert on a suspected serial killer in New York City, wanted for killing three people beginning in early February. Two weeks later, Larme Price surrendered to police and admitted he was the killer. He pleaded guilty and got a life sentence.
Michael Seibert (Full profile) - Update on the case of the Unknown Miami Daycare Rapist, who AMW first profiled in December 2002, who at the time was just a composite sketch. After his arrest on domestic assault charges, Seibert's DNA linked him to the serial rape suspect. When police tried to arrest him at a Miami fast food restaurant, he quickly walked away and disappeared. AMW tips led to his capture in Florida, making him Capture #748. He's now serving a life sentence.
(commercial break)
The Real Miami CSI Feature (Full profile) - A look at how investigators with the Miami CSI unit were able to identify Michael Seibert as the suspected Miami Daycare Rapist. Included are ways in which detectives find fingerprints and serological evidence at crime scenes.
(commercial break)
Juan Flores (Break 4 Tease) - Omaha fugitive who allegedly killed his girlfriend in front of his wife. I believe he's still at large, but there's almost no information about him online.
(commercial break continues)
Genero Dorantes and Martha Patlan (Full profile) - AMW details the manhunt for a fugitive couple from Nashville, wanted for killing a five-year-old boy. Dorantes allegedly killed the boy, Patlan's son, because he was named after his real father and not Dorantes. One investigator brings up the possibility that Patlan was actually trying to help Luis, but her efforts were in vein. Both are now serving life in prison. Episode notes: You can clearly tell that the second half of this episode was filmed at a different time than the first half. When Seibert's profile began, John Walsh had a very scratchy voice and it looked like he hadn't shaved his goatee in a couple days. He was also wearing jeans and a shirt that wasn't tucked in, making himself look very unkempt. It's also interesting to note that initially, AMW believed there were two serial killers in New York City. In one of the robberies, surveillance captured the shooter and another guy trying to steal the register. However, only one person was charged in the case. It appears the "second suspect" was just a random guy who took advantage of the chaos by trying to commit a theft. Also, amw.com initially indicated that Errol Domangue was supposed to be profiled on this episode. His first airing was delayed for one week. Episode #711 - March 22, 2003Guillermo del Prado (Full profile) - The capture of John Walsh's #9 Most Wanted Fugitive of 2002 is detailed. Feeling the heat from that profile, Del Prado surrendered just two weeks later, making him Capture #739.
Unknown New York Sunrise Killer (Full profile) - Tom Morris investigates the case of a suspected serial killer in New York City. The killer's victims were mostly small convenience store owners and the crimes happened early in the morning, which led to the killer's nickname. This airing included a new photo of the suspect that clearly showed his face. Larme Price surrendered a week after this airing and is now serving a life sentence.
(commercial break)
Terry Drake and Lindsey Ryan (Brief, approx. 1 minute) - Update on the case of missing teen Lindsey Ryan and alleged abductor Terry Drake. The latest includes a reported sighting in eastern California. Days after this profile, the two were found.
Michael Alfonso (Full profile) - Exactly one month after AMW revealed Alfonso to be the newest FBI Top Tenner, the suspected serial killer got a proper profile. Alfonso's violent criminal history is discussed, as is his love for AMW and the revelation that he believes those who get caught are "stupid." A tip led to Alfonso's arrest in July 2004, where he became Capture #803. He's serving life in prison.
Genero Dorantes and Martha Patlan (Brief, approx. 2 minutes) - Rick Segall updates the case of Genero Dorantes and Martha Patlan, whose case received a large number of tips on. In one case, a tipster spotted a Dorantes look-a-like in North Carolina. But police issued an alert for the state, because Dorantes had received a speeding ticket there and bought a pre-paid mobile phone about a month before Luis Cisneros was killed.
(commercial break)
Peter Hommerson (Full profile) - A handyman, he was sought by police in Illinois for killing a wealthy couple then setting their house on fire. Police believe Hommerson stole several pieces of jewelry and artwork in the victims' home. Two separate AMW tipsters contacted the show in late 2005 saying Hommerson owned a restaurant in Mexico. Sure enough, it was him, and he was brought back to Illinois. He's now serving life in prison.
(commercial break)
Unknown Littleton Bowling Alley Triple Murderer (Full profile) - Police in this small Colorado town sought help in trying to find the person who killed two bowling alley employees and a regular one night. A sketch was developed of a potential suspect, but in 11 years it hasn't led anywhere. Still at large.
(commercial break)
Adnan El Shukrijumah (Break 4 Tease) - Suspected Al Qaeda operative who was believed to be involved in terrorist planning. He was killed in 2014 during a special forces operation in Pakistan.
(commercial break continues)
Errol Domangue (Brief, approx 1 minute, 30 seconds) - Convicted sex offender wanted for raping and killing a woman in Louisiana and dumping her body in an apartment bathroom. A few years ago, police discovered that Domangue was killed when his bike was hit by a car as he was riding down a street. He spent years as a John Doe before DNA identified him.
Unknown Kristin Laurite Killer (Full profile) - Arkansas police wanted to find out who killed "Deadhead" Kristin Laurite, who was killed while following the Grateful Dead around the country. DNA evidence in the case linked Kristin's murder to the unsolved California murder of Jacque Travis. Serial killer Ronald Ward was eventually charged with both murders, and is now serving life. Episode notes: There's a pretty big error in the Peter Hommerson story. John Walsh says the crime happened in 1997, when it really happened in 1996. What's interesting is that if you listen closely, John's voice sounds differently for this part than the rest of the story, like it was re-edited at a later date. Episode #712 - March 29, 2003 ("Caught on Tape Special Edition")Unknown Barbara Kriewald Killer (Full segment) - A pregnant sports bar owner and her co-manager were shot during an armed robbery after the restaurant closed. The co-manager survived, but Barbara and her unborn baby girl died. Despite decent surveillance and a similar-looking person seen in the bar earlier, the case is cold. Still at large.
(commercial break)
Unknown New York Sunrise Killer (Brief, approx. 1 minute, 30 seconds) - Update on the case of the New York City serial killer, who police believe was involved in up to 5 murders in the city. Most of the victims were small business owners. The same night of the profile, Larme Price surrendered to police and confessed to the crime.
Steven Harrison, Tamika Hamilton and Errol Turnage Capture (Full segment) - AMW discusses the capture of three fugitives wanted in connection with a home invasion where a man was paralyzed after being shot. One suspect was found the night of the profile already in jail, and the other two were caught within the week in Las Vegas. The trio became AMW Capture #s 740-742.
(commercial break)
Adnan El Shukrijumah and Habis Al Saoub (Breaking news, approx. 2 minutes) - Terrorist alert for two suspected Al Qaeda operatives; El Shukrijumah was wanted for questioning, while Al Saoub was the last remaining member of an Oregon terror cell to be sought. Al Saoub was killed in October 2003 by U.S. forces, and El Shukrijumah was killed by U.S. forces in 2014.
Lottie Mae Stanley (All-Points Bulletin) - Suspected scam artist wanted for stealing over $1 million banks across the country. She would pose as a customer and cash fraudulent checks. Captured in July 2003.
Unknown Denise Mansfield Killer (All-Points Bulletin) - A CPA was found dead in her home where she had been tortured. Three women were shown on an ATM surveillance video using Denise's debit card while a possible witness was caught waiting for the women to finish. Due to a time stamp error, police believed the women were the killers, but an AMW tipster proved their innocence. Still at large.
Unknown Billy Brossman Killer (All-Points Bulletin) - An unidentified suspect robbed an Indiana convenience store early one morning and murdered the cashier by shooting him in the back of the head. Despite not wearing a mask, he remains unidentified. Still at large.
(commercial break)
Emil Fuentes (Full profile) - Fuentes and his cousin robbed a convenience store, then traveled to Fuentes' home where they killed his wife. There's evidence that their daughter may have cuddled against her dead mother's body. The cousin was captured the next day. Emil Fuentes is still at large.
(commercial break)
Adrian Martindale (Break 4 Tease) - Accused pedophile wanted for molesting three little boys. Still at large.
(commercial break continues)

Holy cow! That's something I wasn't expecting! Not surprised she's been released (bank fraud doesn't carry that long of a sentence) but still...just...wow.
I don't care to watch the show at all, but I kinda want to see it just to get an idea of what Stanley is like in "real life" (or "reality TV" life, as it were).

I will admit part of me *might* be curious. But then it would just depress me someone who was once on AMW is on tv while AMW currently isn't, lol.

Yeah, good point. I take it you haven't been watching I (Almost) Got Away With It recently, either? While I've got some free time, I'll be discussing the April 2003 episodes Episode #713 - April 5, 2003NOTE: I have never seen this episode of AMW. As a result, this summary should be considered incomplete at best. The known cases that were profiled are going to be listed in alphabetical order since I have no clue what order they actually did air in.
Mustapha Atat - Michigan drag racer who challenged another to a race down a busy street. The other racer slammed into a woman, killing her almost instantly. He eventually surrendered and pleaded guilty, but Atat remained free. In 2009, AMW tipsters spotted him on TV where he was working as a race car mechanic in the United Arab Emirates, where he apparently was close to members of the royal family. Because the UAE has no extradition treaty with America, he can't be sent back. While he's apparently no longer involved in racing, he's still likely over there and can't be touched. Still at large.
Jaime Borbon and Javier Borbon - Hitmen brothers who kidnapped a man in California and held him hostage in Mexico. The victim's father apparently owed a drug debt, but when the ransom failed to be delivered in time, the Borbon brothers brutally murdered the man. Jaime Borbon was killed in Mexico back in 2001, but this wasn't discovered until 2004. Javier Borbon is still at large.
Antonio Delacruz - Texas drug dealer who beat and stabbed a man to death because the victim owed a drug debt. When cornered by police, Delacruz poured gasoline all over himself then set himself on fire to try to escape. He survived, but disappeared on bond. He was found in Mexico in December 2006.
Alan Golder - The "Dinnertime Bandit," Golder was a career criminal known for pulling off elaborate jewelry heists. His career came to a brief halt in the 70s when he and two accomplices killed a homeowner during a robbery. But even after he served his time, Golder continued stealing from residential homes. Captured in Amsterdam in 2006. An interesting side note to this case is that in 1991, when Golder was still in prison, AMW actually profiled his two accomplices - Boonlert "Jeff" Thanarakol and Surajit "Adam" Sae Sow. They've never been located and it's believed they fled the country years ago.
Brian Martin - As a troubled 16-year-old, Martin allegedly stabbed his own father to death and disappeared. To date, this is Martin's last profile on AMW. Still at large.
Jose Rodriguez - Accused Georgia child molester who is also wanted for questioning in a 1985 murder. Police say the night before he went on the run from child molestation charges, a young girl was murdered while babysitting. She was found sexually assaulted. As far as I can tell, Rodriguez is still at large.
Alvin Scott - Turkish Army veteran who killed his estranged wife and her male friend. Police say the murder was committed execution-style, which shows that Scott knew how to use a gun. Still at large.
Jerry Vernon - Lifer who escaped from a medium-security hospital in 2001. Vernon was serving time for a 1989 murder conviction. Two months after his AMW profile, Vernon was found living a meager life in Arkansas. Oddly enough, despite the fact an AMW tipster placed Vernon in Arkansas, he's not considered a direct capture.
Unknown Dalton Mesarchik Killer - A little boy in Streator, Illinois, disappeared and was later found beaten to death not far from his home. Dalton had been killed with a hammer, according to police. A decade later, this case is still stone cold. Episode notes: I've heard rumors that both the capture of Larme Price (aka, New York Sunrise Killer) and discovery of Annette Hernandez were profiled on this episode, but I can't say for certain. If somebody could confirm this, it would be much appreciated. Episode #714 - April 12, 2003Hal Atchley (Full profile) - Update on the hunt for accused bounty hunter killer Hal Atchley. Tips from AMW led investigators and bounty hunters to Atchley's family in Alabama. After investigators talked to Atchley's father about giving up his son, somebody fired several gunshots at them and the AMW camera crew. It's believed Atchley fired the gunshots, but they could never prove it. He was captured thanks to good police work about a month after this episode aired.
Larry Yarbrough (Full profile) - Yarbrough was sought by Oklahoma police for killing a bingo hall security guard back in 1997. During the robbery, the security guard seriously injured Yarbrough with his gun. While the accomplices were caught, Yarbrough disappeared. After working as a pimp in Detroit, Yarbrough jumped out of a window to elude police and disappeared. AMW tips finally tracked him down in August 2003, making him Capture #757.
(commercial break)
Unknown Ali Kemp Killer (Full profile) - A lifeguard at a pool in the Kansas City suburbs was killed by an unknown assailant during the summer of 2002. A friend developed a sketch of a suspicious man she saw, but nobody knew who he was. This update features news that a serial rape suspect arrested in the Kansas City area was believed to be the suspect, but DNA ruled him out. The killer, Benjamin Appleby, was identified and captured in November 2004. Apparently at the time he was working as a pool maintenance man, which explained how he was able to get to Ali Kemp.
(commercial break)
Michael Seibert Capture (Full profile) - John Turchin updates viewers on the capture of Michael Seibert, the suspected Miami Day Care Rapist, who was caught thanks to AMW tips. During his walk of shame, Seibert claimed it was a misunderstanding, telling the interviewer, "I am definitely not a rapist." He's now serving life in prison. An interesting note to this case is that one of his victims, who AMW interviewed in silhouette, has since become a prominent victims' rights advocate in Florida. A local Florida TV station did a story about here, where she revealed not only her face but her real name as well.
(commercial break)
Alejandro Romero, Angel Salgado and Cesar Lucero (Full profile) - Three members of New York's St. James Gang who are wanted for turning a celebration into a tragedy. After crashing a Christening party in New York City, the trio got into a tussle with a man at the party. When they stepped outside, the gang members shot and paralyzed him. While this happened, one of the gang members began shooting randomly, and one of the bullets struck and killed a nine-year-old girl who was walking home with her grandmother. All three are still at large.
(commercial break)
Laroya Bray (Break 4 Tease) - 15-year-old from Los Angeles who disappeared on day. Investigators classify her disappearance as a runaway. Still missing
(commercial break continues)
William Stabler (Full profile) - The last profile (to date) of an AMW cold case from 1990. Stabler, a career criminal, is on the run after allegedly shooting at two police officers and kidnapping a man to help make his escape. Last known photo of him was taken back in 1988, and no age-enhance was ever done. Still at large. Episode #715 - April 19, 2003Joseph Crouch Capture (Full segment) - The capture of "karaoke-singing killer" Joseph Crouch is profiled. His love of karaoke is what led to AMW tipsters identifying him; he never stopped performing in karaoke bars while on the run. Police also discovered that he made his money by robbing banks under the moniker "The Geritol Bandit." He pleaded guilty and is now serving life.
Unknown Col. Brooks Tavern Triple Murderer (Breaking news, approx. 2 minutes) - Three employees of the Col. Brooks Tavern in Washington, DC were murdered during an early-morning robbery attempt. One employee hid out in a back room and provided crucial details in the case. In January 2004, police figured out the mastermind was a former cook at the restaurant, but he killed himself before he could be arrested. His accomplices were arrested and convicted. There's a couple tragic updates in this case; The tavern closed for good last year, and the employee who got away ended up getting killed in a car accident a few years ago.
(commercial break)
Jimmy Miller (Breaking news, approx. 1 minute, 30 seconds) - Foster father Jimmy Miller was discovered to have molested nearly all the children he fostered, starting from back in the 80s. He got away while being checked out at a hospital for an alleged medical condition. He was captured a few months later.
U.S. Marshals Task Force Feature (Full segment) - AMW gives a behind-the-scenes look at the U.S. Marshals' New York/New Jersey Fugitive Task Force. This task force would later help out in several different AMW investigations, including Scott Hornick and Douglas Aigen.
John Walsh also "tacked on" a profile of one of the U.S. Marshals' Most Wanted
Edward Mathis - Drug runner who allegedly killed a Staten Island couple just before Christmas in the mid-90s. Later that summer, AMW tips led to him being located in Detroit; he was killed by U.S. Marshals during a shootout, making him Capture #758.
(commercial break)
Laci Peterson Recovery (Breaking news, approx. 5 minutes) - In a profile that was obviously added to the show at the last minute, the discovery of Laci Peterson's body is documented, as is the brief manhunt and capture of Scott Peterson, which ended before AMW went to air.
(commercial break)
James "Rick" Johnson (Full segment) - A couple who owned an Alameda, California, jewelry store became victims of the most elaborate botched robbery in the city's history. Johnson, a former acquaintance of the owners, planned to steal a safe in the back of the store, but due to a series of coincidences they got away with nothing. Johnson was captured in 2004 after he tried stealing the tip jar from a drive-through coffee stand in Washington State.
(commercial break)
Alfredo Hernandez (Break 4 Tease) - Illinois cops sought Hernandez for a murder that happened in 2002. He was captured around 2007.
(commercial break continues)
Unknown Valley Center Jane Doe Killer (Full segment) - The story of a Jane Doe found near Redlands, California is documented. Police long believed she'd been killed by an ex-boyfriend who apparently buried her body in a six-foot grave. Because of that, she wasn't found for about 10 years. Identified in late 2009 as a young mother who disappeared around the same time, police charged her former landlady with the murder. However, the charges were dropped in 2011, and there's no indication she'll be charged again. Episode #716 - April 26, 2003 ("750th Capture Special Edition")Rufino Castaneda (Full segment) - The victim of a brutal kidnapping and rape in Indiana tells her story to America. A chilling 911 call she made after the assault was played, and the victim - then known as "Tiffany" - actually took part in an online chat with viewers on amw.com, which I believe is the first time a victim did this. Her accused rapist, Rufino Castaneda, was captured in 2007 and is now serving a long prison sentence.
(commercial break)
Hal Atchley (Brief, approx. 1 minute) - John Walsh reminds viewers that Hal Atchley is still wanted. New clues include information that Atchley may have been hiding out with outlaw bikers. He asked viewers to "end this," and two weeks later, Atchley ended up getting captured indirectly.
Henry Inocencio Capture (Full segment) - AMW was preparing to air the story of Robert Ratto, a supermarket manager who was killed in a drive-by shooting on his way in to work. A witness worked with AMW to create a composite sketch, and when it hit the local media, tipsters identified the sketch as ex-con Henry Inocencio. Evidence linked Inocencio to Robert's murder, making the fugitive Capture #750.
(commercial break)
Pinkney "Chip" Carter (Full segment) - Wanted out of Florida for committing a triple homicide; the victims were his longtime ex-girlfriend, her new boyfriend and her teenage daughter. Her teenage son was sleeping in another room and survived. Carter escaped to Mexico, and for awhile police feared he'd disappeared forever. Just days after being named John Walsh's #1 fugitive of 2003, Carter was captured in Kentucky after a police officer saw his FBI poster and recognized him as a guy he'd arrested for providing false ID days earlier. Carter is now on death row in Florida.
(commercial break)
AMW's Five Greatest Captures (Full segment) - Feature about the top five greatest captures in AMW history. #5 was David James Roberts, #4 was the Texas Seven, #3 was John List, #2 Eric Rosser and #1 the recovery of Elizabeth Smart.

A Chat with Robert Mueller (Full segment) - John Walsh interviews Robert Mueller about the show's 750th capture. I'll be out of town tomorrow at a wedding, so I'm not sure if I will be able to post the May episodes. But I will get them posted by Monday.

After a brief hiatus, I'm back! And this time, I'm picking up where I left off on the old forums; for the first time, here is my analysis of the May 2003 episodes of AMW! Episode #717 - May 3, 2003 ("Escapes Special Edition")Nathan Aguirre, Alfredo Mendoza, Jose Ramirez and Martin Sandoval (Full segment) - Four violent alleged criminals escaped from the Madera County Jail. Three inmates planned the escape, and two others took advantage of the chaos to go with them. One suspect was caught before his AMW profile. Nathan Aguirre was found in July 2003. The other three are still at large.
Clarence Anglin, John Anglin and Frank Morris (Full segment) - John Walsh discusses the legendary escape of three convicts from Alcatraz back in the 60s. The ferry company that transports tourists to Alcatraz offered a reward for the location of the three escapees. Still at large.
(commercial break)
Tristan "Buddy" Myers (Breaking news, approx. 2 minutes) - Buddy Myers disappeared while going for a walk with his dogs back in 2000. In April 2003, police thought he'd been located in Evanston, Illinois; a man brought a boy to the hospital who looked exactly like Buddy. Unfortunately, it was a case of mistaken identity, and the boy wasn't Buddy. Still missing.
Jessi Vega (Full profile) - In 1998, a teenager in Salt Lake City was found murdered. An investigation led to her boyfriend, Jessi Vega, to be charged with the crime. One minor clue that led cops in the right direction were leaves found at the crime scene that didn't belong to any trees in the mountains. Still at large.
(commercial break)
Randolph Dial and Bobbi Parker (Two-Part Segment) - The strange story of convicted killer Randolph Dial is documented. He pleaded guilty to killing a karate instructor in the late-70s, but claimed it was a hit. In 1994, he escaped from prison and took the warden's wife, Bobbi Parker, with him. Dial was captured in 2005 thanks to an AMW tip (Capture #835) and Bobbi safely recovered. While Dial died in prison in 2007, a court recently convicted Bobbi Parker of helping Dial escape from prison.
(commercial break)
Jon Schillaci (Break Four Tease) - Wanted out of New Hampshire for molesting a little boy he was living with. In 2007, Schillaci was added to the FBI's Ten Most Wanted, and he was captured in mid-2008.
(commercial break continues)
Ashleigh Moore (Breaking news, appox. 1 minute) - A teenager went missing one morning after her stepfather made her breakfast. Ashleigh's body was found days later, and her stepfather was charged with killing her. Episode #718 - May 10, 2003 ("Bad Girls Special Edition")Cassandra Woods Capture (Full segment) - Report on the capture of white supremacist Cassandra Woods, who started a fight that led to the death of a young man who happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. A woman contacted the show after she realized Woods' was dating her brother-in-law. She was caught less than 24 hours after she appeared on AMW.
Greisy Valencia (Full segment) - The first profile of longtime fugitive Greisy Valencia, wanted out of California for torturing her own children for years. Valencia had been reported once before, but the case for some reason was never investigated. Finally when her daughter was found walking alone on the street, Valencia was charged. Still at large.
(commercial break)
Mark and Christopher Samples (Full segment) - AMW updates the case of bank robbery suspect Mark Samples, who went on the run with his three-year-old son Christopher. The show followed Samples' ex-wife as she traveled across the country with "Christopher's Crusade," meant to raise awareness of her son's case. The Samples were found later in the year living on a rural property. Christopher was reunited with his mother and Samples went to prison.
(commercial break)
Desiree Lingo-Perkins (All-Points Bulletin) - Wanted for participating in the random kidnapping and murder of a 19-year-old in Texas. Captured in 2004 thanks to an AMW tipster, making her Capture #811.

Warren Smith (Full segment) - A serial escape-artist, AMW first profiled Smith in 2001 after he and four others broke out of a county jail. Smith was captured in December 2001 in Brazil, but in early 2003 he escaped from that jail while awaiting extradition. He was eventually captured in France in late 2003/early 2004.
(commercial break)
Dara Llorens and Sabrina Allen (Full segment) - A Texas woman abducted her two-year-old daughter when she learned that she was going to lose her visitation rights. She even tried getting her daughter to lie to police about her father molesting her. In 2014, Dara and Sabrina, now almost an adult herself, were both found living in Mexico. Sabrina was successfully reunited with her father.
(commercial break)
Cynthia Wismiller (Break Four Tease) - Armored car driver wanted for driving off with a large sum of money. Captured in 2004 and has since pleaded guilty to the crime. Interestingly, Unsolved Mysteries profiled her as a missing person, not a fugitive.
(commercial break continues) Episode #719 - May 17, 2003 ("Left for Dead Special Edition")Unknown Appleton Attacker (Full segment) - In 1999, a young woman was stabbed multiple times after arriving at her mother's house in Appleton, Wisconsin. She somehow survived the brutal assault. The motive is unclear, since she wasn't sexually assaulted and nothing was taken from her. A sketch was created after the victim was hypnotized. Still at large, and rumors are that the statute of limitations has expired on this case.
Olivera Hernandez (Full segment) - A construction manager in Arizona, Hernandez is wanted for killing one of his teenage employees after chasing him throughout a construction site. The victim was found the next day buried in a shallow grave. Still at large.
(commercial break)
Unknown Ohio State University Arsonist (Breaking news, approx. 1 minute, 30 seconds) - A fire that was set at a house near Ohio State University turned into a homicide investigation after police found five dead bodies inside the building. Still at large, but in late 2003 police thought they had a suspect. However, nothing ever happened, to my knowledge.

When his wife, Barbara, left him, Holbrook tracked her down and shot her dead as she ran away from the trailer, trying to escape him. Holbrook was captured just hours after the broadcast in Tennessee; he told the sheriff who arrested him "I just saw it (the profile) and you all have made a very fast response."
(commercial break)
Scott Hornick (Full segment) - One of the most slippery fugitives AMW has profiled, despite being over 300 lbs., career thief Scott Hornick has escaped police at least three times. This includes jumping out of a window, somehow not injuring himself and running away. He and his girlfriend, Sasha Ingardi, were captured in 2007 after trying to scam an elderly man; the victim saw through their plans and fought with the suspects until police arrived.
(commercial break)
Eduardo "Limpy" Rodriguez (Full segment) - Months after their gang leader was captured, AMW decided to take a shot at finding TVR gang lieutenant Eduardo "Limpy" Rodriguez. Along with his captured boss, Timothy McGhee, Rodriguez allegedly committed several murders. Rodriguez was captured thanks to a Facebook post in 2014.
(commercial break)
John Winklepleck (Break Four Tease) - Child molestation suspect wanted for abusing several boys. He was captured in 2005 and sentenced to prison.
(commercial break continues)
Edward Myers Capture (Full segment) - Keeping with the episode's theme, AMW aired the capture of Edward Myers, who violently attacked his ex-wife and left her for dead in the woods. She was saved by a stray dog who kept her going until help arrived. Myers became AMW Capture #468 after tips led to his sister's house, where he was hiding out. Before his trial, he died of a heart attack. Episode #720 - May 24, 2003Duane Brown (Full segment) - Accused drug dealer who got into a high-speed chase with police before crashing into a telephone pole. Brown was able to be rescued, but his two passengers were killed in an explosion. Before he could be charged with negligent homicide, Brown, who was recovering from an amputated leg, checked out of the hospital and disappeared. He surrendered less than a week after his AMW profile, making him Capture #751.
The Shadow Wolves Feature (Full segment) - Behind-the-scenes look at a group of Native American border patrol agents known as the Shadow Wolves. Pedro Da Rosa - Convicted rapist who was supposed to be deported, but didn't show up for his immigration hearing. Still at large.
Harvey Ponce-Gomez - Manslaughter convict who also failed to show up for his immigration hearing. AMW tips led to his capture in California not long after his profile, making him Capture #752.
(commercial break)
Unknown Greer Triple Murderer (Breaking news, approx. 2 minutes) - Earlier in the week a triple homicide occurred at a bank in Greer, South Carolina. There were very few clues in the case, except for a possible car that may have been used by the murder suspect. Still at large.
Leonard Harper (Full segment) - Texas fugitive wanted for executing a man who punched his stripper girlfriend. He then took his girlfriend on the run with him, and she only got away after writing a note to a restaurant manager at a rest stop. Harper bailed out and disappeared until early 2011, when he was caught in Brazil.
(commercial break)
Jessi Vega (Full segment) - Tom Morris gives an update on the case of accused killer Jessi Vega. Tips placed Vega in the suburbs of Chicago, and they soon learned the tips were accurate. Vega, however, disappeared before police could nab him. Also discovered was that "Jessi Vega" was not the suspect's real name; instead, police suspect his real name is "Arturo Munguia." Still at large
(commercial break)
Roger Holbrook Capture (Full segment) - The capture of accused killer Roger Holbrook is detailed. He was found in a small town in Tennessee just hours after his profile aired. What makes this case really interesting is that the victim's sister actually lived a few blocks away from the hotline, and she came down to the show that night to see the tips come in. So she learned when the agents did that her sister's killer had been caught.
(commercial break)
Jose Arebalo (Break Four Tease) - Wanted for molesting his own stepdaughter while she was sleeping in bed. Still at large.
(commercial break continues)
John and Karen Mizic (Full segment) - Serial white collar criminal John Mizic escaped from a halfway house and continued his crime spree, taking his family on the run with him. He disappeared for awhile, but resurfaced in 1996 where he masterminded a jewelry heist from a Florida bank. Still at large.
Derrick Lee Capture (Full segment) - John Turchin explains how police linked serial rapist Derrick Todd Lee to the crimes committed by the Baton Rouge Serial Killer. The case is also updated to include Carrie Yoder, the last known victim of the serial killer. Lee ended up dying while awaiting his execution on death row.
(commercial break)
Unknown Janette Piro & Chris Benedetto Killer (Full segment) - A wealthy couple in Florida disappears one day, something completely out of character for them. Janette Piro, the female victim, was found dead in a bait refrigerator in the garage, but her husband, Chris Benedetto, was missing. Police believed he was a victim, but kept open the possibility he might be a suspect. Just a month after this profile, police arrested Janette's brother-in-law, Michael Koblan, and charged him with killing the couple. Shortly after his conviction, he died in prison of a heart attack. Chris Benedetto's body has never been found.
(commercial break)
William Bradford Bishop (Full segment) - A prominent U.S. State Department employee murders his entire family (wife, mother and three children) and disappears, in a case eerily similar to John List. Bishop has been spotted numerous times in Europe over the years, and everybody has a theory about what might have happened to him. Still at large.
(commercial break)
Mikhail Drachev (Full segment) - In Arizona, a young Russian immigrant who was working as a police informant was brutally murdered in the desert by three people he considered friends. Two suspects were captured, but Drachev, who was only 18 years old at the time of the murder, disappeared. In 2007, his fiancee walked into a Canadian police station and turned him in. Apparetly Drachev was using an alias and after proposing to her revealed his real name. She Googled him and found amw.com. He became AMW Capture #933.
(commercial break)
Jose Zacarias (Break Four Tease) - California man wanted for questioning in the deaths of his two children, who were found strangled by their mother. Less than a week later, Zacarias was found dead at the bottom of a cliff in an apparent suicide. Though he had "Deceased" stamped across his amw.com photo, his capture report was never uploaded.
(commercial break continues)
Four-Legged Heroes Feature - AMW takes a look at police dogs and how dangerous their job is. They also discuss efforts from elementary school students to raise money for bulletproof vests for dogs. Episode notes: This was a rerun of the June 22, 2002, episode. Among the edits made were a cut to John Walsh's speech at the end of Brad Bishop's reenactment; he originally said "26 years on the run is long enough, so let's grab Bishop tonight." In this episode, he said "So let's grab Bishop tonight." Obviously an attempt to make it look like this wasn't a rerun, since Bishop would have been on the run 27 years at the time this episode aired. This was also the first episode where AMW profiled Chris Benedetto as a victim and not a missing person.

The Clarence and John Anglin and Frank Morris escape brought back memories since I went on vacation to San Francisco last October and like a true tourist went to Alcatraz. I can now say despite being a moderator of a fugitive-catching forum, I have been to jail. It was really interesting learning up front since they talked about it on the tour, seeing just how daring that escape was. And I of course thought of their AMW-airing. And the waters seemed like they could freeze someone to death, which is why some speculate they never made it out. I believe you mentioned some evidence on the old forum leading to suggest they had been able to do the impossible and made it to land. If you notice a trend here most of these episodes profiled at least five known fugitives, back in the good old days. Once Steve Katz took over, they started off weird episodes with two or three-segment fugitives combined with impossible to solve cold cases. Even Lifetime had some less than five episodes even though overall it improved on the fall 2010- 2011 years on Fox.

I definitely know what you mean. The one that sticks out in my mind was the one on June 4, 2011. I think only two known cases were profiled, and the rest were all unsolved cases (Helen McPherson, Alfred Johnson, Randi Gorenberg, Greg Martin, etc.) I remember reading an article about the Helen McPherson murder where John Walsh was apparently shocked that the case didn't even get one tip on it. Yet for some reason, none of the forum members were surprised that a five-year-old murder with no clues didn't get a tip. He also incorrectly claimed the case had been profiled on the show before; the June 4, 2011 airing was its first, and to date only, profile.
Yeah AMW has profiled unsolved crimes before John Walsh became executive producer, but most of those had at least some type of clue in them (ie, Jennifer Servo had a number of belongings stolen from her, including a very unique handbag with a picture of Anna Nicole Smith on it), or a possible suspect that police have identified (ie, the detective in the Evelyn Hernandez case flat-out said they were looking at her boyfriend, a married man who was cheating on his wife with Evelyn. She was also pregnant with his baby).
One of these days I'm going to create a thread about all the multi-part AMW stories and when they aired.

Hey, who wants to see more from the AMW episode guide? This time I'll be going through June 2003. Episode #722 - June 7, 2003 ("Toughest Cops, Toughest Cases Special Edition")Chaun "Charley" Cai (COPS Credits) - Millionaire wanted for killing his wife and then stuffing her body into a suitcase. A Canadian fugitive, Cai's profile was removed from amw.com without any explanation in 2005. Still at large.
Seattle Top Cops Feature (Full segment) - "Tough Cops" story about a group of Seattle officers who took down a murder suspect who shot at them while barricaded inside of a home. One heroic act was saving the life of one officer who had been hit in the head by a ricoched bullet.
(commercial break)
Eric Rudolph Capture (Full segment) - After 22 profiles, longtime AMW fugitive and domestic terrorist Eric Rudolph was captured in North Carolina. Rick Segall talks to the officer who caught him and a tipster who called the hotline months before the capture to reveal her cousins were hiding out Rudolph while he was on the run. Rudolph is now serving life in prison.
(commercial break)
Anatoliy Valenko and Vladimir Balachov (Full segment) - AMW follows two detectives as they investigate two dismembered bodies. They discovered the victims were killed by their roommates, Anatoliy Valenko and Vladimir Balachov, but the duo disappeared before they could be arrested. Valenko became AMW Capture #968 in 2007 after a tipster in The Netherlands recognized him. Balachov is still at large, and it appears that police have given up on finding him; he wasn't even mentioned in Valenko's on-air capture report in 2009. Valenko was put on trial sometime in 2010/2011, but I couldn't find his verdict.
(commercial break)
John Addis (Full segment) - A former Alaska State Trooper, Addis was wanted out of Las Vegas for killing his girlfriend. Police believe she was killed the same day she broke up with him. Interestingly, evidence suggests that she never knew his real name, since he was using the alias "John Edwards" at the time. Addis was found dead in 2006 in Guatemala. Police believe he committed suicide after killing his wife and children in Mexico.
(commercial break)
Vincente Carrera (Break Four Tease) - Wanted for the brutal attempted murder of the 16-year-old daughter of his ex-girlfriend. Still at large.
(commercial break continues)
Shane Magan (Full segment) - Troubled teenager Shane Magan is wanted for shooting at a sheriff's deputy who pulled him and a friend over for acting suspiciously. After committing an armed robbery, Magan's accomplice surrendered, but Magan disappeared. Still at large. Episode notes: This is the second rerun of the "Toughest Cops, Toughest Cases" special edition. It originally aired on July 21, 2001 and reaired on August 17, 2002. It would air one more time in 2004 before the episode was "retired." On a related note, this is the only one of Magan's profiles that mentions the name of his accomplice; every other airing refers to him as "Magan's friend." Episode #723 - June 14, 2003Frederick Russell (COPS Credits) - Suspected drunk driver Frederick Russell was wanted for crashing his car into another, killing three people. He was busted in Ireland not too long after being added to the US Marshals' 15 Most Wanted list in 2005.
Andre Neverson (Full segment) - In what eventually became his "default" profile, suspected killer Andre Neverson's case is updated to include a new photo of him with a dreadlock wig. The detective on the case reveals that one AMW tip led police to Las Vegas where they learned one of Mike Tyson's sparring partners bears a striking resemblance to the fugitive. He was arrested in 2018 after a traffic stop led investigators to him.
Edward Santana (Full segment) - A salsa instructor, Edward Santana brutally stabbed his girlfriend more than 50 times in the face with a screwdriver, killing her. In tragic irony, Santana's victim was a psychology student who was training to work with domestic abuse victims. Santana was captured just days after his profile, making him Capture #755.
(commercial break)
Unknown Molly Bish Killer (Breaking news, approx. 2 minutes) - An update on the case of Molly Bish, a missing teenager AMW first profiled in 2000. Earlier in the week, her body was found in the forest behind the pond where she was last seen. Despite how often Molly was profiled as a missing child, for some reason this is the last time the case has been profiled. Still at large.
Duane Brown Capture (Full segment) – AMW Capture #752, Duane Brown, is profiled. The night of the broadcast, tips sent investigators to the home of Brown’s dad, who claimed he didn’t know where his son was. Two days later, Brown surrendered.
(commercial break)
David Bieber (Full segment) – A bodybuilder, Bieber arranged the murder of a fellow bodybuilder that he had trafficked steroids with. Part of the motive was the fact Bieber was married to the victim’s ex-girlfriend and wanted to get him out of the picture. He was captured in December 2003, but only after committing another horrible crime. When police in England tried to arrest Bieber for stealing a car, he shot and killed a British police officer. He was arrested without incident a few days later.
(commercial break)
Unknown Miami Child Rapist (Breaking news, approx. 1 minute) - A serial rapist in Miami was wanted for targeting mostly children who had just arrived home from school. After a botched rape led to his car being identified, Reynaldo Rapalo was captured.
Unknown Jennifer Servo Killer (Full segment) - A young TV reporter was found dead in her Texas apartment after she hadn't been heard from in several days. A number of items were stolen from her apartment, but nothing was ever found. Still at large.
(commercial break)
Donald Barto (Break Four Tease) - Pennsylvania man wanted for molesting children. He was captured indirectly in July 2003. (commercial break continues)
New Orleans Homicide Documentary (Full segment) - AMW producer Ray Farkas rode along with New Orleans homicide detectives to document what an average day for them is like. Some of this footage was used in Farkas' story about the Helen Hill murder in 2007.
John Walsh profiled two fugitives wanted out of New Orleans to "help out" that department.
Calvin Sinclair - Wanted out of the city for shooting his young girlfriend and her mother to death over the Fourth of July weekend. Sinclair is less than 5 feet tall and is believed to be in South America. Still at large.
Lenard Williams - New Orleans man wanted for murder. He was captured sometime in 2003 or 2004. His capture report was never published on amw.com Episode notes: Two quick notes about the David Bieber reenactment. Because Bieber was first profiled in 1996, before steroids became very well-known, John Walsh had to explain what they were. It made for an almost "duh" moment in 2003 since by then everybody knew what steroids were and what they could do to people (it's similar to the Tallchief/Solis reenactment where John Walsh translated what "Esta Vida Loca" meant, even though by 1999 everybody in the world knew Ricky Martin's song "Livin La Vida Loca"). Also, when Bieber told his victim to stay away from his new wife (the victim's ex-girlfriend), the victim started yelling at Bieber, saying he'll get someone else to push steroids for him. What's odd is that he's yelling this at Bieber inside a health club locker room, where many people could probably hear him. I'm not sure if that's how the situation actually played out, but it's kind of amusing that he's publicly admitting to being a steroid pusher.Episode #724 - June 21, 2003Martin Wisby (COPS Credits) - Drifter wanted for killing a woman who had hired him to do some work on her home. Just a few weeks later, Wisby was captured, apparently indirectly because AMW never took credit for it.
Angel Tello (Full segment) - Teenage robbery suspect who led police on a high-speed chase in Texas before crashing his car into a store. He shot at police, but missed. Tello went on the run with his 13-year-old girlfriend, but she wasn't profiled as a missing child for some reason (most likely because they couldn't prove she was in danger). A month after this profile, Tello surrendered, saying he missed playing with his little boy. Before his surrender, he dropped off his girlfriend at her mother's house. She was unharmed.
Michael Coppola (Two-Part Segment) - A member of the Genovese Crime Family, Coppola allegedly became a "made man" after committing a hit on a mobster who had turned informant. The crime went unsolved until Coppola admitted the crime to another mobster who later became an informant. He was caught in early 2007, but acquitted of the murder charge.
(commercial break)
Rufino Castaneda (Full profile) - AMW updates the case of rape suspect Rufino Castaneda, which includes a new interview with the victim. She talked about how coming to the show was helping her heal, and she felt strengthened after chatting with viewers on amw.com. Castaneda himself was finally nabbed in Mexico in 2007.
(commercial break)
Unknown Miami Child Rapist (Full profile) - The hunt for a serial rapist in Miami continues as police tried to catch him before he raped another child. AMW was able to sit down with three of his child victims and interview them about what happened. This episode also featured the debut of a new FACES sketch to aid in the manhunt. Two months later, suspect Reynaldo Rapalo was captured and is now serving time.
(commercial break)
Maurico Andrade (Break Four Tease) - Convicted child rapist who was wanted for violating his probation. Still at large.
(commercial break continues)
Cops on the Front Lines Feature (Full segment) - Tom Morris follows two police officers who are also members of the Army Reserve as they're deployed to Afghanistan. I have a feeling this segment might have aired before, but I'm not entirely sure. Episode notes: I remember reading an article around the time this episode aired criticizing AMW for the FACES sketch in the Miami Child Rapist case. According to police, after the sketch was released a couple of the victims said that's not what the suspect looked like, and that the original, hand-drawn sketch was more accurate. What's interesting is that when AMW aired Reynaldo Rapalo's capture report in September, the only sketch they showed on air was the hand-drawn one. Years later I read another article saying a lot of police agencies don't like FACES, because it can actually taint a victim's memory. Episode #725 - June 28, 2003Jorge Lopez-Orozco (COPS Credits) - Idaho man wanted for killing his girlfriend and her children, then setting the car on fire to destroy all the evidence. Two years later Lopez-Orozco was added to the FBI's Ten Most Wanted List, and three years after that he was captured in Mexico.
Andrew Luster Capture (Full segment) - Just as summer began its full-swing, AMW reported that convicted rapist Andrew Luster had his vacation cut short. They report the rapist was nabbed in Mexico, which is where AMW tips had been pointing, by bounty hunter Duane "Dog" Chapman.
Chaka Raysor and Derrick Henderson (Full segment) - Chaka Raysor was the leader of a violent crack gang in New York City for a decade. The gang was responsible for multiple murders and other crimes throughout the city. Derrick Henderson was a lieutenant in the organization, and one of the only Raysor gang members to elude capture. Raysor surrendered in August 2006 after saying he was tired of seeing himself on AMW (Capture #899). Henderson was captured in October of the same year when he tried to buy drugs from an undercover detective on the New York subway.
(commercial break)
Leonardo Cisneros (Full segment) - Known as a playboy, Cisneros arranged the murder of his girlfriend's ex-husband, a popular pediatrician in Florida. The motive was greed; Cisneros' girlfriend wanted full custody of her daughter and knew her husband would never give it to her because of her behavior. The murder plot was successful, but police quickly figured out it was a hit. Everybody except Cisernos was arrested. Still at large.
(commercial break)
Richard Goldberg (All-Points Bulletin) - FBI Ten Most Wanted child molester Richard Goldberg is profiled once again. This airing was the first time Goldberg's age-enhanced photo was aired, which showed him with less and more graying hair and a shaved mustache. Goldberg was captured in May 2007 in Canada.
Jenny Liang (All-Points Bulletin) - A jealous woman, Liang allegedly shot and killed her boyfriend while he was asleep. Nobody really knows exactly why she did it. Liang got a couple days head start when she called in to work for her husband, saying that due to a family emergency he'd be out of town. Still at large.
Unknown Fran Jones Killers (All-Points Bulletin) - A popular figure in Cleveland, Fran Jones was gunned down in her driveway one night when she came home and interrupted a burglary in progress. The only clues police have are two sets of footprints leaving the crime scene in the snow. Still at large
Leanna Warner (Brief, approx. 1 minute, 30 seconds) - John Walsh issues an alert for Leanna Warner, who disappeared from her home in Minnesota after walking to her neighbors' house. Some have speculated that serial child killer Joseph Duncan may have been involved in this case, but no proof has ever emerged. Still missing
(commercial break)
Dara Llorens and Sabrina Allen (Breaking news, approx. 3-4 minutes) - An AMW camera crew follows Greg Allen as he travels down to Mexico after he received word that police had his wife located and were preparing to arrest her and recover his daughter, Sabrina. However, by the time the plane landed Mexican police backed off the home where Llorens and Sabrina were hiding, and sure enough she disappeared. Nobody knows exactly what happened or why, but apparently Sabrina wasn't doing very well and appeared to be scared. In 2014, Dara and Sabrina were finally located in Mexico. Sabrina and her father were reunited.
(commercial break)
Jose Sanchez-Guillen (Break Four Tease) - Wanted for shooting and killing a police officer. He was captured just a couple days after this profile.
(commercial break continues)
Rufino Castaneda (Brief, approx. 30 seconds) - John Walsh thanks viewers for their response to the Rufino Castaneda story the previous week. Tips came in from about 20 states as well as Mexico in the hunt for Castaneda. But he says investigators still need "that one tip," so he asks for help once more. As I said the previous week, Castaneda was caught in 2007 in Mexico.
Jesus Mezquia (Suspected Mia Zapata Killer) Capture (Full segment) - The cold murder case of Seattle grunge singer Mia Zapata was solved thanks to DNA. In early 2003, a rape suspect was getting ready to be released from a Florida prison, but he had to submit his DNA before doing so. When it entered CODIS, it matched to the 1993 unsolved rape and murder. AMW aired the case multiple times over the years, with the last profile happening in early 2001. Episode notes: I’ve got tons of notes from this episode, so I’ll divide them up instead of posting them in one large paragraph.
-Andrew Luster was captured about five days before this episode aired, and his capture report was originally going to be a fugitive profile, according to TV Guide’s old description of this episode.
-In addition to Chaka Raysor, AMW also put the word out that police wanted to question his younger brother. He wasn’t wanted for any crimes, but police felt the brother could lead them to his fugitive older brother. Not long after this episode aired, AMW removed the brother from amw.com. My guess is he was located and didn’t help at all in the investigation. On a related note, AMW’s old site didn’t create a profile page for Derrick Henderson for some reason, and he wasn’t even mentioned in Raysor’s profile. On the other hand, captured Raysor gang fugitive Michael Seaberry was mentioned in Raysor’s profile and they claimed he was still a fugitive. Seaberry had been captured indirectly in 1999.
-Even though this was her third profile, this marked the first time Dara Llorens’ last name was mentioned on-air by John Walsh. Previously, the only time it was mentioned was when the detectives traveled to Mexico to track her down. If you listen closely, you can hear one of the detectives say her full name while speaking in Spanish to a potential witness. I feel this was most likely a simple oversight, but it just seems strange that it took three profiles for her last name to be acknowledged.
-This one’s a complete coincidence, but it’s an interesting coincidence nonetheless. A few days before this episode aired, I was channel surfing and happened across Unsolved Mysteries. The episode in question profiled, of all cases, the unsolved murder of Mia Zapata! I don’t remember if they’d tacked an update onto the show or not, but it was really bizarre. Even more bizarre? This was the second time something like this happened to me. In August 2002, I caught John Addis’ Unsolved Mysteries profile the same week AMW aired his case.I’ll do my best to post the July 2003 episodes tonight as well.

On the New York inmate locator, there's an Anatoliy Valenco serving life for 1st degree murder. Now, while it could be a different man, I think it's safe to assume its the same guy

Keep up the excellent work PakMan! Am I the only one here who couldn't stand that Lopez-Orozco only got COPS credits mentions in 2002 in 2003 (2005 airing was a short mention about his FBI MW List placement, and 2008 was 15 SOS).

Also I want to bring up Lopez-Orozco went on the run in 2002, was added to the FBI Most Wanted List in 2005 and was caught in 2009. Just noticed you listed his timeline as being somewhat inaccurate. Also his brother, Simon was never caught, he helped Jorge flee Idaho after the triple homicide.
