Note: Case valid through archive searches up until May 10, 2016.Sex: Male Race: White / Hispanic Birthdate: March 23, 1977 Height: 5'06" Weight: 145 lbs. Eyes: Brown Hair: Black --- On February 14, 2003, Juan Antonio Ramirez got into an argument with a maintenance worker at the apartment complex he lived in. That dispute led Juan to shoot and kill the employee, Washington Lucerna. Juan then fled with his wife and three young children, probably en route to either Texas or Mexico where Juan's family has relatives. On the off chance that Juan is still driving his last known vehicle, it would be a Ford F150 pickup truck with Georgia license plate 4847-AKN. Based on crime location, we advise you to contact the Clayton County Sheriff's Department at 770-471-1122 if you have any tips regarding this case.
Moderator Note: If you have any news-related updates on this case, please contact us here: amwfans.com/thread/1662/website-contact-form--- Thoughts? Right before I was to post this case today, the Clayton County Sheriff's Department updated it's Most Wanted website. The change meant that only fugitives wanted since 2016 would currently be profiled and all cold case fugitives were taken off the site. Luckily we have web.archive.org where I was able to get a photo of Juan from a record saved earlier this year. Most likely Juan is hiding out in Mexico but he might occasionally be visiting relatives in Texas. web.archive.org/web/20160510132824/http:/www.claytonpolice.com/MostWanted.htm

Based on the fact they never took him off the site before he changed it, he's likely still at large as of your posting date (12/19/2016). Would be great to hear otherwise. Problem is he's probably deep and anonymous somewhere in Mexico and we can only hope the odds are defied and he gets captured.

As of today June 24, 2020, there hasn't been any relevant movement in PACER's records for the Flight To Avoid Prosecution case out of Clayton County regarding Juan Antonio Ramirez since 2003. When I mean relevant movement, the only records were for "substitution of counsel" and some general court notices regarding the Covid-19 situation. There's also nothing listed under "defendant custody status".
Therefore, I'm concluding that Juan Antonio Ramirez is still at large.
