Since Daniel Flores Rios is listed in the Crime Stoppers of Houston database, our advice for anyone with information on his whereabouts would be to contact that agency at 713-222-8477.

Thanks again to Newslibrary for providing the around 70 word article on this case from back in 2000. A few questions remain such as why Esau Albarran was killed. Usually we see murders in nightclubs happening because of stupid arguments that the killers start, so that may also be what happened in this case. Also did Daniel flee to Latin America after Esau's murder? crime-stoppers.org/crime-database/839977/

There's a lot of questions about what the motive was. Was it an argument? Or did Rios know his victim would be at the club that night? It's probably the former but what's most important is it's now been 16 years and Rios is apparently still at large. Hopefully he can still be apprehended one day.

I can't find the case against Rios in Harris County's online court records, although I feel it's safe to reasonably assume that he's still wanted as of this posting update (6/4/2018), since he is still listed on Houston Crime Stoppers.

Found the murder case in the Harris County District Court Records database. The case number there is 083997701010-3 (Inactive). As of today, April 5, 2000, that docket is still listed under "Warrant or Citation Issued" meaning that Daniel Flores Rios still has an active warrant and is still at large. www.hcdistrictclerk.com/Edocs/Public/search.aspx
