Clifford Graham is wanted for multiple counts of fraud and tax evasion stemming from a scam that netted him multi-millions from several people, including his best friends. Graham, one of the founders of Fotomat, started a new company, Au Magnetics. He stated to investors that his company owned technology that extract gold, silver, and diamonds from common minerals such as ore and sand. Over 100 people invested in the project, including several wealthy businessmen, Congressmen, and Graham's secretary and husband, who invested their life savings. Even though they were promised a quick return on their investment and could be offered a refund if they wanted, Graham used the money to fund his lavish lifestyle. After several investors found out about the scam, they filed lawsuits and forced his firm into bankruptcy. However, by then, Graham had fled already. Graham's getting up there in age; he'd be in his mid-80's today. One interesting note is that both the old FBI and AMW archives mention he was suicidal, and always carried a gun on him. However, he was a fitness freak, and I don't think he had any unhealthy vices, so there's a good chance he's probably still alive. Someone mentioned he was interested in working in Canada, so it's possible he could be there. Otherwise, I see him in another country, living off the money he made. Thoughts? UPDATE from site admin: I have found no new articles online in the past few years. Although as far as I can tell, Graham is still wanted as of this update (7/26/2018), since I have found nothing online suggesting he's been captured or confirmed deceased. Of course, if anyone ever has any updates/proof-of-updates in the future, however, they are always more than welcome to let us know. Admin Note #1: If you have any information on this case, our recommendation would be to contact your local FBI field office or embassy or submit a web tip to them at tips.fbi.govAdmin Note #2: If you have any news-related updates on this case, please contact us here: amwfans.com/thread/1662/website-contact-formAttachments:

Being aged in the 80's now is different than being that age decades ago and it certainly still is possible he is still alive. Canada would make a lot of sense.

AMW always reported that Graham was last seen in the Caribbean. If that's true, he's probably living a life similar to the one I believe Wallace Thrasher is living; posing as an old retiree and living out his days in paradise. With all that money, he wouldn't have a problem living anywhere.
I really wish AMW would have done an update on this case, if only to see whatever happened to the victims. Oddly, there's some evidence they may have been planning to add the case to their website in 2009. I don't know if anybody ever tried this, but if you opened any of the mugshots on amw.com as a separate file and fiddled around with the names and file locations, you could find hidden mugshots that weren't on the website. Until 2005, you could actually browse all the old files and see who the show was apparently planning to add (but then they changed the permissions so that website couldn't be public).
I did that once with an image called "primary_large.jpg" and I tried moving around different folders. Out of nowhere, I stumbled across Clifford Graham's mugshot in one of the folders! The file information indicated it was put in the folder in early 2009. Does this mean AMW was going to add him to the site, but changed their minds? Who knows.

I'm just curious as to why they believe he was suicidal. Did he mention killing himself before? Maybe he felt guilty about his scams, although I doubt that. And it was interesting to see his old FBI wanted poster, since most white collar fugitives are not listed as "Armed and Dangerous."

I call this case the "Sand Alchemy Scam". Has American Greed ever done an episode on it?

American Greed: The Fugitives has never done an episode on Clifford Graham. Although I assume it's always a possibility if they ever do another round of episodes.
