(Above photo credit: franklinsheriff.org) FRANKLIN COUNTY, Alabama -- Franklin County authorities are searching for a third man in connection to a Monday night robbery at the Cedar Creek Chevron. Two men wearing Halloween masks held up the gas station at gunpoint. A Phil Campbell officer spotted the vehicle and a chase ensued. The suspects wrecked the car in the pursuit, according to the Franklin County Sheriff's Office. Authorities arrested Kenneth Gregory West and Alvaro Salcedo Jr. Salcedo originally identified himself as Carlos Gomez, but authorities found this was a false identity. Investigators have also identified a third suspect, Felix Dieguez. According to online articles, information regarding the whereabouts of Felix Dieguez should be forwarded to the Franklin County Sheriff's Office at 256-332-8820.

Armed robberies are a very serious offense and I feel they need more publicity when the offenders are wanted fugitives. These types of criminals usually re-offend and have the potential to fire from their gun and kill someone during the commission of the offense.
