From The Charley Project:
Rivera was last seen after she left the home she shared with her father on Peggy Lee Lane in Las Vegas, New Mexico on June 30, 2012. She was driving a purple 2005 Chevrolet Cavalier with the New Mexico license plate number JFZ-534. She said she would be back in a few minutes, but she never returned and has never been heard from again. Rivera left her infant son behind in the bathroom. A bedridden man lived in her home and she was supposed to take care of him; all night he heard the baby crying. When Rivera's family arrived at the house in the morning, they found her slippers, her lighter and a couple of cigarettes on the ground outside.
Rivera's family members said they believe she was kidnapped and murdered, and named two men as the probable killers; one of them was her boyfriend and the father of one of her two children. Her relatives stated he had bragged about killing Rivera and burying her body in a remote area. Neither of the suspects Rivera's family identified have been publicly named because they haven't been charged in connection with her disappearance. They have both hired lawyers and haven't cooperated with the police in her disappearance.
Rivera's case remains unsolved and she is considered to be endangered.
