Wait, I need to clear this up. Does Honduras have an Extradition treaty with the US or does it not? Some sources say Yes, some say No. I'd really like to know for sure.

Honduras traditionally has not extradited fugitives back to the U.S.- but in the past few years have been loosening their laws a tiny bit, but mainly only for suspects accused of terrorism or drug trafficking. So sadly we likely have a better chance of getting a guy back that trafficked a tiny bit of marijuana than we do of a guy who raped and murdered a little girl. Of course, them sending anyone back perhaps means a tiny sliver of hope. www.insightcrime.org/news-analysis/with-extradition-law-honduras-outsources-justice-to-us

As much as Alexis Flores deserves to be on the Ten Most Wanted List, I have to wonder how much thought the FBI gave to Honduras's extradition policies when they added Flores to the list. Just all around a totally ridiculous situation.

The real problem was when they deported him from Arizona in 2005- that was the real missed opportunity. I can't fault anyone in that situation. Flores was an illegal immigrant and the crimes he was accused of in the states- shoplifting, possession of a forgery device, while although they can't be condoned they weren't serious enough to warrant keeping him in the states (although he did serve 60 days and then was deported). It's better to just expel a guy like that before he commits a more serious crime in the states later on. The problem is he had already committed that serious crime- but no one had known yet. So while I can't fault anyone for deporting him, it is frustrating because if just a bit more time had passed, he likely would have been arrested and charged in the states. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alexis_Flores (see Arrests And Deportation section)

I think it is because the Ten Most Wanted List is about how badly they WANT somebody (hence: Wanted), not how likely they are to be caught or whatever country they may be in's Extradition policies. Not the best system, but at least it shows they won't give up on somebody without a good fight.

An age progression photo could be of some use.

Anyone else notice how he got noticiably chubbier from his 2002 photo and his 2005 photo? I'm very curious about how his weight situation is now. We need some ideas on how he would look if he gained some weight, lost some weight, etc... I mean they made an age progression of Eduardo Ravelo, who as much as I'd like to see caught, I don't have much hope for that happening. And they made it AFTER they heard that he likely had plastic surgery. So it is likely of no use. So if they did it for him, Why haven't they made one for this vermin piece of pond scum who has been on the run even longer than him?

I would like to see some age-progressed photos of Flores. It does seem the FBI does eventually make them for most fugitives on the list, so hopefully that will happen soon. His face does look like it got a little chubbier.

Look how blurry it is. AMW at least cleaned it up before they aired him, but the FBI's photo looks so blurry and pixelated.

Had a crazy dream about Flores being captured which got me thinking, the FBI and the Honduran authorities should start contacting eachother to try to locate Flores and even the FBI should travel down to Honduras to locate him, the problem is we can't rely on the public bringing him in when extradition treaties get in the way, all it's going to take is cooperation from the Honduran Government. Flores has been on the list nearly 9 years, if this doesn't work then I guess sadly Flores should be removed as much as It hurts me to say that.

Well, I think it's assumed Flores is in Honduras, but I don't think it's like other fugitives where he's hiding in plain sight. If he is Honduras, he's laying low there. Sometimes these fugitives for whatever reasons flee to other countries. There have been cases of fugitives stupidly leaving a place where they were safe for another country.
Honduras has sent fugitives back to the U.S., but as I mentioned before, mainly for drug offenses. So while it's not much, it's a start to be cautiously optimistic.
I don't see the FBI removing Flores anytime soon. They haven't removed Victor Gerena in over 30 years and he was believed living in a country that wouldn't extradite (until recently) and none of his victims died. Flores's victim was a little girl who was both raped and murdered. I don't think they're going to give up on Flores anytime soon because of that.

Your right I mean even in Honduras he has to be alert to not get noticed. Also about the extradition treaty I just hope something changes soon

Some age progressed photos of him should really be made you have one for Ravelo and some new mugs of Urbina so now let's hope the same happens for Flores

Well I'm moving this case up since he hasn't been talked about in a while.
Now I was looking at his 2002 and 2005 photos and comparing them and about how he may age.
In Flores's 2002 photo he either may have been 20 years old (since one of his used DOBs was 1982 which matches the approximate age) or just has a baby face.
Now the first DOB the year of birth is 1975 likely his actually birth year and if my math is correct he may have been 30 at the time of the 2005 photo.
My honest opinion is that he wasn't 30 in the 2005 photo but in his 20s in both photos.
The big problem with Flores and other fugitives is that you never how much these fugitives age over time, age progressed photos may work but it's hard to tell if a fugitive ages that quickly, which gives me the idea that the FBI hasn't made any for Flores because he is the type of guy that doesn't age quickly, but will try to gain or lose weight to try to keep a low profile in Honduras.

I still think an age-enhanced photo wouldn't hurt but I do agree he has a somewhat youthful face.
