I made a thread about this earlier but deleted it since I thought the issue was fixed. Some of AMW.COM's profiles, such as Yaser Said's, are being redirected to a FOX.COM 404 error page saying some pages are undergoing maintenance issues. I though I saw the profiles again but some are still getting that same error message. Hopefully it's just an Independence Day weekend glitch, but curious if anyone else has noticed this also.

I've also noticed it. Something that strikes me as unusual is that FOX is apparently still running the amw.com page. Even if AMW returns to television, it won't return to FOX (more likely Investigation Discovery).

That is a good point. As we know, rumor is the real reason Lifetime cancelled AMW was because of Fox upping their license fees (I blame both parties for being cheap and valuing money over saving lives) and apparently Fox owns more than just the name.
Off-topic, but I agree with your assessment. The L.A. Times claimed that CMT wants AMW, but John Walsh taping a promo for the Discovery Channel imo hints at a further relationship with them. (I would jump for joy if AMW lands on ID, it's my first cable choice and would of course prefer it over CMT, but I would actually feel bad for CMT, who despite seeming to be a weird fit, has a knack for reviving cancelled shows and seems to try their hardest to do so)

Lots of profiles still getting to that 404 page. AMW needs to fix this soon since not everyone wants to call in their tips.

Still a lot pages getting that 404 thing. I hope this isn't a copyright issue and it's just a site is old and needs fixing issue.

This is bizarre. It looks like the site has reverted to an earlier time in the year. The capture counter is only at 1,202 and the front page headline is Paul Jackson.

But on a somewhat positive note, it seems a lot of profiles have the FULL and not just brief descriptions back but the site is still going a little haywire.

It appears they have reverted to an older backup, look at the FBI's Top-10 list, they still have Osama and Whitey listed lol. Hopefully they fix everything soon, I sure miss the AMW videos too but those haven't worked in ages.

Yeah they definitely went back in time. I'm going to demand Fidel Urbina be added to the 10 most wanted list! LOL.
I guess it's a good sign they're trying to fix the site. Whether they come back or not, it's a valuable resource. Even though they're currently in Groundhog's Day beta, apparently.

Damn. Not only is the capture counter at 1202 but Karen King and Marcus Tillman still listed as fugitives. I wonder if AMW has another direct captures if they'll know it's 1205 and not 1203!

now the front page is completely blank except for the old lifetime Fridays at 9 logo (LOL). I clicked on a link and it somehow went back to the old Paul Jackson homepage with 1202 captures. But can't go back there now.

I'm just grateful now that the website is being kept up.

I know AMW still seems to be fixing website kinks but one thing I think they can get rid of permanently is that stupid "Fridays at 9 on Lifetime" logo since it's no longer on Lifetime. Even if they come back, it seems almost certain to be a new channel. Doesn't make sense to still have it up there, unless secretly they're still hopeful they'll take them back.

I would like to say AMW or no AMW I wish the website could still be maintained. It hasn't been updated since September. Even if because of contractual obligations or anything like that they can't add cases, it would nice to see the links working. Jason Brown's profile page has been down for a long time now.
I hope even if AMW is officially over, the website and hotline can still be maintained.
But especially the website. If Unsolved Mysteries can still be a functioning website where you can submit tips despite not existing as a tv show anymore, I don't see why AMW can't.
