A 28-year-old man has been charged with the shooting death of a man outside a night club Monday.
According to documents filed in 3rd District Court Thursday, Juan Velador shot Raul Apodaca six times as Apodaca was getting into a vehicle outside of Rumba's Club, 4050 W. 5415 South. According to previous police reports, the two men had had a confrontation inside the club.
Velador fired the shots from a white Ford truck, the documents said. The truck was stolen.
Velador, who has multiple aliases, was charged with one count of criminal homicide, a first degree felony punishable by five years to life in prison. He was also charged with receiving or transferring a stolen motor vehicle, a second degree felony punishable by one to 15 years in prison.

Thoughts? Right before I was scheduled to post Juan Velador's case today, the US Marshals in Utah got rid of his fugitive poster on their website. Luckily I have a web.archive posting from earlier this year with his wanted poster. The Utah Right To Know Warrants page does reference Juan as being still wanted.
As for his whereabouts, Mexico or Latin America is the most likely location after 15 years on the run. However there's a chance that he returned to the US with very little media publicity.
