Police in Streator, IL are searching for the killer of seven-year-old Dalton Mesarchik.
On March 26, 2003 Dalton was waiting for a church van to pick him up outside his home. When the van never showed up, Dalton's mother went looking for him and discovered he had disappeared. A frantic search began and an Amber Alert was issued immediately. The next day Dalton's body was discovered in the Vermillion river just seven miles from his home by a local fisherman. Police say he was murdered and they have no suspects.

Thoughts? Dalton's case was aired on the April 5th, 2003 episode of America's Most Wanted. Unfortunately all indications are his murder is still unsolved. The Illinois State Police website has vital clues and photos so please check that link above out.
