The story of the manhunt for Fausto (pictured left) and Dionicio (pictured right) Negrete-Olivas begins in 2009. That is when hikers found a human skull in Pinal County, Arizona. Deputies found additional remains in a nearby shallow grave. The case went cold for several years as the victim remained a John Doe. In 2014, a human skull was found in a septic tank near the community of Casa Grande, further searches found the rest of the remains in the skeptic tank. Investigators determined that these two discoveries were connected. The results of their investigation led to the identification of the men being Baltazar Lopez and Azaren Cordova. Both men had disappeared from Phoenix in 2008.
Authorities found out that Baltazar was a Mexican drug trafficker with ties to the Sinaloa Drug Cartel while Azaren was just visiting from Mexico. Five days after they disappeared, Baltazar's charred vehicle was found. The investigation also revealed that both men had been dismembered after being murdered. Fausto Negrete-Olivas had lured both Baltazar and Azaren into the desert, Fausto believing that Baltazar had owed him $10,000. Fausto had been arrested in 2010 on drug trafficking charges but was released in 2013. Dionicio himself is a person of interest in the two murders while Fausto was been charged with them this past August. They have been spotted in Nogales, Arizona.
According to online articles, Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Fausto or Dionicio Negrete-Olivas should contact the Pinal County Sheriff's Office at 520-866-5111.

Thoughts? It goes without saying that Fausto Negrete-Olivas is an extremely dangerous fugitive, and Dionicio also needs to be located to determine what he knows along with what involvement he had. It appears that Azaren Cordova was a completely innocent victim who just happened to associate with the wrong person. Hopefully we apprehend one or both of the brothers when they next cross the border into Arizona.
