AKRON - The U.S. Marshals are searching for a man accused of two counts of rape.
Lorenzo Finsley, 29, allegedly broke into an Akron home June 7, where he raped a woman while her child was in the home.
During the assault, the victim managed to break free and grab a knife. Finsley used the child as a shield for protection before fleeing the scene in a vehicle.
Finsley is described as 5-foot-7, weight 160 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. Authorities believe he is hiding in the Akron area. His last know address is at the 400 block of Flora Avenue.
Finsley is wanted on two counts of rape, aggravated burglary, sexual battery, assault and aggravated menacing.
Anyone with information on Finsley is asked to call 1-866-4WANTED.

Thoughts? What makes this brutal alleged rape even more tragic is it happened right after the victim's birthday party. There's never a good time to be raped obviously, but still sickening and disheartening that what must have been such a happy day at first is said to have ended so horribly.
