DESCRIPTION:
On December 10, 1996, Abimael Vasquez Saenz was driving westbound on SR108 (Old Olympic Highway) when he crossed the center line and struck another vehicle head-on. The driver of the victim vehicle and one of his passengers were seriously injured while another passenger died at the scene. Saenz failed to identify himself, assist with aid to the injured, and fled the scene. Saenz had been drinking at the time of the collision.
