DESCRIPTION:
On July 8, 1999, Martinez had been drinking when he was involved in a one vehicle roll-over collision on SR24 near milepost 2. The passenger in Martinez's vehicle died later that evening. The suspect sustained serious injuries in the collision and was hospitalized; Martinez fled after he was released from the hospital.
